The laguiole, a small village in Aveyron, France, lent its name to the famous folding knife with the curved handle adorned with the legendary bee. Laguiole is not a knife brand but a knife design that many producers make with different techniques and materials. Claude Dozorme was the first in France to put his name on filet knives with a fixed, non-folding blade. All products bearing his signature are a testament to quality for the consumer, both for the high-quality materials used and for the place in which they are produced.
