  • Quite good sharpness and close focusing. Very high-quality (and heavy) construction.
    Cons: It does not have weather sealing and stabilization (something that the Tamron has with a smaller aperture, though).
    There have been general complaints about focus accuracy, which I have not yet encountered, as it ruins your photos in very wide apertures
