Guys, let's not kid ourselves. The behavior of the animal reacts according to its organism to the food. Many factors come into play. Basically, it is a good food.

I changed my dog's food (barking heads pooched salmon) to this one. He ate it reluctantly until we finished the bag I had bought (it lasted us for about two months). The change was gradual from one food to the other, and at first it seemed like my dog liked it, but within a few days, he didn't want to eat it. He would spend almost the whole day and eat it slowly towards the evening, after realizing that he wouldn't eat anything else all day. With the previous food, his coat was shinier, but with this one, not so much, and it seemed like he had a bit of dry skin. His stools were much softer and not solid with this food. Finally, his mood didn't seem the same to me. Especially when it was time to eat, I would put it in front of him and he wouldn't even go to see it. After all this, we went back to his previous food. Maybe it didn't sit well with my dog as a food. Lastly, it had a slightly unpleasant smell as food.
