    After tightening, you turn while simultaneously tightening with one hand, and with the other hand, you assist the rotation (always counterclockwise, as you look at the filter from above). If it slips, put a little super glue on the metal, place it on the filter, tighten it, and let it sit for 10 minutes to dry before attempting again.
