Isomat Adiplast construction resin is a polymer emulsion added to the mixing water of mortars. It increases adhesion to the substrate and elasticity, improves the plasticity, water retention and workability of fresh mortar, and reduces setting shrinkage and the cracking it causes. It enhances resistance to abrasion, chemical effects and petroleum products, while waterproofing concrete and cement screeds.

It is used in bonding layers between old and new concrete or mortar, repair mortars and thin-layer applications, cement floor screeds — including those with underfloor heating —, plasters, adhesives for insulation boards and tiles, and for grouting natural stone. It also improves water-based paints, preventing them from rubbing off and helping them withstand weathering.
