Good for vacations up to an hour. I have it for the internet so the shop never stays offline. I have no issues. The only problem is the charging, which blinks most of the time, and you will rarely see both green LEDs. For its price, it's worth it.

Well, I have 2 of these connected to Mikrotik switches and I operate them at 24v. It is one of the few UPSs that also output 24v with voltage boost. I read the comments of friends here and I agree that the power supply is small... However, before you change it, you need to be careful! It is not 12v, but 12.7v and it seems to have a circuit that works with the UPS to stop charging. The light that flashes on the power supply is not a simple LED flash, but rather a charging indicator... I replaced it with a reputable 12v-4A because it was getting hot and I wanted 24W. It works cool, but the charging never stops! I don't know if it's the difference of 0.7V or if it exclusively needs its own.

Good only for short power outages. It does not provide any protection for devices. It requires caution. The transformer provided for power supply is smaller than what the UPS can provide. If you don't get a bigger one, you should not connect devices with a total consumption of more than 18W.

    --EDIT--
I came back after a test I did to connect a wireless phone at the same time. Complete failure and the phone is now useless. The phone is powered at 5V 0.5A.

The first test was done with a cable in the USB port as I had it available. As soon as I connected it, the VOIP on the router would drop for no apparent reason. Even after a reboot, it wouldn't fix. I had to reconnect the phone to the socket to restore the VOIP.

I did a second test a few days later and connected the phone to the 5V output. Again, the VOIP dropped and a noise was heard from the base. I measured the voltage on the contacts that charge the headset and saw 20V!! It ended up damaging the antenna and now the headset only has signal at 30 points.

It has an external power supply for the ups itself, which provides only 12V 1A and as it is normal if you connect, for example, a router to the 12V which has a consumption of 12V with equal or more A, it forces it to use the battery backup and eventually after a while it shuts down together with the connected device... in other words, without power interruption... you stay without power...
If the device is less than 0.7A it might work there... elsewhere it is useless.

LATZIMAKOS

dimitriosbotaitis

leoSh

Stef Ts.
