The cooler was installed on a ryzen 5 2600. Yes, the processor is now "old" but this summer its temperatures have dropped significantly. From having over 80 degrees, around 85 in games like destiny 2, now I don't exceed 65 in July. So I think I don't need to explain further how good its performance is especially on processors 2000, 3000, and 5000. Unfortunately, for the new AMD 7000 processors, it needs something bigger and better because the temperatures rise excessively.

I chose it because of its height (125mm) as it had to fit in a mini case (Tacens AC4) to cool an i7 10700k.
It is absolutely silent with idle temperatures at 20°C.
Compared to the NH-U12S that I had before, the fins of the NH-U9S bend easily, which means that its construction is not particularly sturdy, that's why I removed one star.

IN GAMING (57-67temps)max I had an issue with the stock CPU cooler (ryzen 5 2600X) reaching idle temperatures of 56 degrees and gaming temperatures of 78-84 degrees, to the point where the computer would shut down. It is beautiful with very good performance and comes pre-assembled, you just need to apply thermal paste and screw it in + an iron sticker and Noctua's thermal paste, which if you buy separately costs 15€ and is very good. Very good choice for those who have cases that do not support tall coolers. Silent fan (well, of course we are talking about Noctua here), it allows you to install a second fan if you want more cooling. Currently, it cools my 10700k (without overclock) (40c idle, 50-60c light work-gaming, 75c max).
