Very good for someone to install an extra SSD on it to store files with some speed. (twice as fast as SATA SSD on B550 motherboard / pcie 3.0 x1)

For what you are buying, it is excellent. The speeds that an M.2 NVMe achieves are low, BUT expected for PCIe x1.
Useful only if you want to get rid of the 2.5" SSDs and switch to the PCIe ones that every motherboard has.

I had to shorten the bracket in order to fit it onto the PC chassis, but everything was fine after some metalwork. The adapter securely accommodated the M2 NVMe SSD and works properly on an old 3rd generation Intel PC

It does not have the right shape to screw in the back and sit on the motherboard, I had to bend the iron to make it okay
