Excellent hardware. Especially if you use it in a unify environment, then we're talking about excellent capabilities.

Big process to set it up, especially if you don't already have a Ubiquiti Gateway, which isn't clear before you buy it. Other than that, it does its job just fine.

Awesome switch, of course not intended for simple household use and has no reason to exist (although it does its job) outside the Unifi ecosystem. I replaced two simple unmanaged switches with this one, already having a Network Controller, Security Gateway, and 3 Unifi Access Points. It was immediately adopted by the controller and I threw everything on it. Obviously, it works flawlessly and now I have the ability for Link Aggregation, which I implemented with 4 ports on a Synology DS1821+. I also have VLAN management per port. POE+ worked great for everything I connected, considering that the FlexHD has a maximum power consumption of 5.5W, as I measured, the total 45W it provides is more than enough for 3 APs and a Cloud Key Gen2. Now, if you want to connect 8 devices (as many as the POE+ ports it has), you may be on the edge, so keep that in mind. Overall, a very good investment, salty price but it reflects the flawless ecosystem.
