Purchased as an upgrade from a 3700x. It's incredible even now, it holds up well and doesn't struggle with anything! With an undervolt and overclock, it will have amazing results and will be quite cool. I'm running it at 4.6ghz with a max temp of 65 degrees with an NZXT 360mm, I would recommend a good water cooler or a good heatsink.

I've had it for a year and a half now. Even now, it is a truly respectable processor. I use it for bulk photo and video editing. At the same time, due to my work, I design with 3D programs and vector graphic software, with many different programs and web pages open simultaneously. I have two monitors and multiple desktops loaded.
It doesn't lag at all. I don't remember it crashing even once since I got it.
It is still a tool processor even now. I also play my games just fine, let's mention that.

I don't see any reason to upgrade my system. Even now, for all my work and gaming needs, it's perfectly fine. I don't even know how many windows I have open simultaneously in Chrome while Spotify, 3D design programs (Fusion 3D, SolidWorks), vector graphics (Inkscape, LightBurn), and Superslicer (a program that slices 3D files for a 3D printer) are running at the same time. Sometimes I leave all of these open while I wait for some of my tasks to finish and I even open a game.

Δεν βρίσκω κάποιο λόγο να αναβαθμίσω το σύστημά μου. Ακόμα και τώρα για όλες μου τις ανάγκες εργασίας και gaming είναι μια χαρά. Δεν ξέρω κι εγώ πόσα παράθυρα έχω ταυτόχρονα ανοιχτά στον chrome ενώ ταυτόχρονα τρέχουν spotify, σχεδιαστικά προγράμματα 3d (fusion 3d, solidworks), vector grafics (inkscape, lightburn), superslicer (πρόγραμμα που κόβει τρισδιάστατα αρχεία για 3d printer). Ενώ καμιά φορά τα αφήνω ανοιχτά όλα αυτά όσο περιμένω να τελειώσει κάποια από τις δουλειές και ανοίγω και κανά game.

Without changing the motherboard, staying on AM4, with a price of 260 euros, it is the best you can get! It doesn't understand anything and runs everything lightning fast. Personally, I use it for photo and video editing, in combination with 64gb of RAM and a 3060 12gb, and it flies! With proper undervolting, in a be quiet 500dx case and with air cooling (yes, air cooling!) be quiet dark rock slim, it works at 40-42 degrees idle and never exceeds 74 degrees in stress tests!

Coming from a 5600x and not wanting to change the whole platform to do productivity tasks beyond gaming, I was torn between the 5800x3d and the 5900x. I ended up with this one based on the graphics card I have installed (Sapphire Rx6700, where the 5800x3d wouldn't make a big difference) and the work involving video editing, databases, etc. The difference is day and night.
Installed on a gigabyte aorus x470 gaming and Arctic Liquid Freezer II cooling. In terms of performance, I don't even discuss it, ~300 euros for 12 cores I think is the golden mean if you don't want to change the platform from AM4. Finally, databases like SQL/MariaDB have "come alive" and in video editing, the times have dropped dramatically.
In terms of temperatures, I haven't seen anything above 65-70 degrees in stress tests with PBO +100 and curve optimizer -20 (the liquid freezer ii also does a fantastic job).
In games, it's a little different. In most games, I didn't see big differences, except for some (F1 23, for example, which went from ~155 to ~180 with the same settings). On the other hand, as I mentioned at the beginning, it wasn't a choice based on games mainly but productivity, as work brings upgrades and games.
For those who are already on AM4 (5700x and below), it's a very good choice for work primarily but also for games. For those who have a PC for gaming mainly with a powerful graphics card (4070, 7800xt and above), the 5800x3d would be a better choice.
Update 29/07/24:
After using the processor for several months and changing the motherboard to MSI x570A-Pro, I noticed what some mentioned about increased temperatures without anything else changing except for the motherboard.
I did some checks and changes in thermal paste (Kryonaught), without seeing any improvement and the temperatures were rising up to 75-80 degrees with AIO Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240. What I noticed on the X570 chipset was that, compared to the x470 which went up to 145 watts, on the x570 the consumption went up to 190-200 watts and that was the reason for the temperature increase. By turning off all the CPU's OC features (PBO, etc.), the consumption decreased and the temperature dropped below 70 degrees.
I recommend caution with these specific chipsets (X570, B550) as I noticed that they have the CPU wattage consumption "free" as well as the voltage raised by default.

Κατέληξα σε αυτόν με κριτίριο την κάρτα γραφικών που έχω εγκατεστημένη (Sapphire Rx6700, όπου ο 5800x3d δεν θα έκανε μεγάλη διαφορά) και την εργασία που αφορά επεξεργασία βίντεο, βάσεις δεδομένων κλπ. Η διαφορά είναι μέρα με την νύχτα.

Έπειτα από χρήση του επεξεργαστή για αρκετούς μήνες και αλλαγή της motherboard σε MSI x570A-Pro, παρατήρησα αυτό που ανέφεραν κάποιοι για ανεβασμένες θερμοκρασίες χωρίς να έχει αλλάξει κάτι άλλο εκτός από την motherboard.
Έκανα κάποιους ελέγχους και αλλαγές θερμοαγώγιμης (Kryonaught), χωρίς να βλέπω βελτίωση και οι θερμοκρασίες ανέβαιναν μέχρι 75-80 βαθμούς με AIO Arctic liquid freezer II 240. Αυτό που παρατήρησα στο X570 chipset, ήταν πως, σε σχέση με το x470 που ανέβαζε κατανάλωση μέχρι 145watt, στο x570 η κατανάλωση πήγαινε μέχρι 190-200watt και ήταν ο λόγος που ανέβαζε θερμοκρασία. κλείνοντας όλα τα OC χαρακτηρηστικά της cpu (PBO κλπ) κατέβηκε η κατανάλωση και η θερμοκρασία κάτω από τους 70 βαθμούς.
Συνηστώ προσοχή στα συγκεκριμένα chipset (X570, B550) καθώς παρατήρησα ότι έχουν "ελέυθερη" την κατανάλωση watt της cpu όπως και τα volt ανεβασμένα από προεπιλογή.

Pure power for applications that push the limits of multiple cores, very fast rendering with DaVinci Resolve, and works idle in most games so far. Requires good cooling, either liquid or air, I keep mine cool with a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 with great ease. It makes some noise when temperatures rise, but they drop quickly. I'm waiting for summer to see how temperatures will be. If someone only wants to play games, it's an overkill choice (like the R9 5950), but if it's also intended for video/photo production/streaming, it's a great value for money. With a good graphics card, it can handle everything quietly and at very good FPS on high/ultra settings. I run it stock without tweaking it in any way.

Αμα το θελει καποιος μονο games ειναι overkill επιλογη(οπως και ο R9 5950), αλλα αμα προοριζεται και για παραγωγη βιντεο/φωτογραφιας/streaming ειναι πολυ VFM, με μια καλη καρτουλα κανει τα παντα αθορυβα και σε πολυ καλα FPS στα high/ultra. Τον τρεχω stock χωρις να το εχω πειραξει σε κανενα σημειο με κανεναν τροπο.

Initially, I believe that product reviews have real value when made after long-term use. Although I bought this CPU as soon as it was released, I waited a long time so I could provide more objective and reliable information. For years now, AMD has been making clearly better CPUs than Intel (except for certain models in the AMD Bulldozer CPU series). I have been using this CPU for about 2.5 years since the first day it was released, and I am confident that I can comfortably use it for at least another 5 years.
To understand how ridiculous Intel fanboys are, you can compare the Ryzen 9 5900X with its Intel rival, the i9-10900K. There are dozens of test videos and articles. Social media has now evolved and people can easily be heard worldwide. That is, the black propaganda that Intel used against AMD with its financial power no longer works.
In some Adobe programs, the i9-10900K may appear superior, but this is solely due to corporate agreements between Adobe and Intel. For this reason, Adobe developers implement software restrictions for AMD CPUs.
The Ryzen 9 5900X is more than enough for both rendering and gaming. If your goal is exclusively gaming, it might be worth looking at an X3D CPU. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend using at least a 360 mm liquid cooler, although quality air coolers can also perform excellently (like several Noctua solutions). Also, since it will be used in a hot climate like Greece, a mesh case with very good airflow is the best choice.
Overall, this is an extremely powerful processor for the AM4 platform and for all kinds of use. Its real rival is not the i9-10900K but also the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.

We AMD users want real competition so that we can have better processors at more reasonable prices. If one day Intel makes a truly superior processor to AMD, of course I will use Intel. However, due to the lack of competition, AMD now sells the AM5 processors at very high prices, while Intel has reached a particularly difficult position as a company. Αρχικά, πιστεύω πως οι αξιολογήσεις προϊόντων έχουν πραγματική αξία όταν γίνονται μετά από μακροχρόνια χρήση. Παρόλο που αγόρασα αυτόν τον CPU αμέσως μόλις κυκλοφόρησε, περίμενα αρκετό καιρό ώστε να μπορώ να δώσω πιο αντικειμενικές και αξιόπιστες πληροφορίες. Η AMD εδώ και χρόνια κατασκευάζει σαφώς καλύτερους CPUs από την Intel (αν εξαιρέσουμε ορισμένα μοντέλα της σειράς AMD Bulldozer CPUs). Όσοι ασχολούνται σοβαρά με τους PC, έχουν εμπειρία με CPUs AMD ή είναι γνώστες του χώρου, συμφωνούν σε αυτό. Δεν αναφέρομαι στους κλόουν που στα Facebook groups το παίζουν «τεχνικοί υπολογιστών» και κάνουν fanboyισμό υπέρ της Intel.
Ειδικά από τη στιγμή που η AMD κυκλοφόρησε τους Ryzen CPUs, η Intel δεν μπορεί πλέον να ανταγωνιστεί πραγματικά και έχει περάσει σε δεύτερο ρόλο και οι CPUs AMD χρησιμοποιούνται ολοένα και περισσότερο παγκοσμίως.
Η AMD ουσιαστικά έδωσε το τελικό χτύπημα στην Intel με τον Ryzen 9 5900X.
Ο Ryzen 9 5900X λειτουργεί σταθερά στα 5.1 GHz με ενεργοποιημένο PBO, ακόμη και υπό φορτίο στους 85°C.

Χρησιμοποιώ αυτόν τον CPU εδώ και περίπου 2,5 χρόνια από την πρώτη μέρα κυκλοφορίας του και είμαι βέβαιος ότι μπορώ να τον χρησιμοποιώ άνετα για τουλάχιστον άλλα 5 χρόνια.
Για να καταλάβετε πόσο γελοίοι είναι οι fanboys της Intel, μπορείτε να συγκρίνετε τον Ryzen 9 5900X με τον αντίπαλό του από την πλευρά της Intel, τον i9-10900K. Υπάρχουν δεκάδες βίντεο δοκιμών και άρθρα. Πλέον τα social media έχουν εξελιχθεί και οι άνθρωποι μπορούν εύκολα να ακουστούν παγκοσμίως. Δηλαδή, η μαύρη προπαγάνδα που έκανε η Intel εναντίον της AMD με την οικονομική της δύναμη έχει πλέον πάψει να λειτουργεί.
Σε ορισμένα προγράμματα της Adobe, ο i9-10900K μπορεί να φαίνεται ανώτερος, όμως αυτό οφείλεται αποκλειστικά στις εταιρικές συμφωνίες μεταξύ της Adobe και της Intel. Γι’ αυτόν τον λόγο, οι προγραμματιστές της Adobe εφαρμόζουν λογισμικούς περιορισμούς για τους CPUs AMD.
Ο Ryzen 9 5900X είναι υπεραρκετός τόσο για rendering όσο και για gaming. Αν ο στόχος σας είναι αποκλειστικά το gaming, ίσως αξίζει περισσότερο να κοιτάξετε κάποιον X3D CPUs. Παρ’ όλα αυτά, συνιστώ οπωσδήποτε χρήση υδρόψυξης τουλάχιστον 360 mm, αν και και οι ποιοτικές αερόψυκτρες μπορούν να αποδώσουν εξαιρετικά (όπως αρκετές λύσεις της Noctua). Επίσης, επειδή θα χρησιμοποιηθεί σε θερμό κλίμα όπως της Ελλάδας, ένα mesh κουτί με πολύ καλό airflow είναι η καλύτερη επιλογή.
Γενικά, πρόκειται για έναν εξαιρετικά δυνατό επεξεργαστή για την πλατφόρμα AM4 και για κάθε είδους χρήση. Ο πραγματικός του αντίπαλος δεν είναι ο i9-10900K αλλά ο επίσης AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.
Αξίζει να το ξεκαθαρίσουμε αυτό: ο πραγματικός αντίπαλος του Ryzen 9 5900X είναι ο i9-10900K. Ωστόσο, για να μπορέσει να ανταγωνιστεί, η Intel κυκλοφόρησε τον i9-11900K απέναντι στον Ryzen 9 5900X. Αλλά και εδώ, ο Ryzen 9 5900X είχε και πάλι καλύτερες επιδόσεις.

Αγαπητοί fanboys της Intel, δεν υπάρχει λόγος για τέτοια συμπεριφορά. Το να υποστηρίζει κανείς τυφλά μια εταιρεία είναι απλώς αδυναμία κρίσης. Εμείς οι χρήστες AMD θέλουμε πραγματικό ανταγωνισμό, ώστε να έχουμε καλύτερους επεξεργαστές σε πιο λογικές τιμές. Αν κάποια μέρα η Intel κατασκευάσει πραγματικά ανώτερο επεξεργαστή από την AMD, φυσικά και θα χρησιμοποιήσω Intel. Εξαιτίας όμως της έλλειψης ανταγωνισμού, η AMD πλέον πουλά τους AM5 επεξεργαστές σε πολύ υψηλές τιμές, ενώ η Intel έχει φτάσει σε ιδιαίτερα δύσκολη θέση ως εταιρεία. Και αυτό γιατί πολλοί χρήστες αποδέχονταν χωρίς κριτική ό,τι έκανε η Intel. Όταν μάλιστα οι σειρές 12ης, 13ης και 14ης γενιάς της Intel είναι ουσιαστικά σχεδόν ίδιες μεταξύ τους, το γεγονός αυτό είναι πλέον ξεκάθαρο.)
Ενημέρωση (25 Μαΐου 2026): Άρχισα να κάνω gaming livestreams με δύο υπολογιστές. Γι’ αυτό μετέφερα πλέον τον Ryzen 9 5900X στον δεύτερο υπολογιστή μου, που χρησιμοποιώ για το streaming. Στον κύριο υπολογιστή μου χρησιμοποιώ τον Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Δυστυχώς, η Intel και το 2026 εξακολουθεί να μην μπορεί να ανταγωνιστεί την AMD. Περιμένω με ανυπομονησία η Intel να κάνει επιτέλους ένα comeback.
Επιπλέον, επειδή οι χρήστες πλέον δεν προτιμούν τους CPUs της Intel, η ίδια η εταιρεία βρέθηκε ένα βήμα πριν από τη χρεοκοπία και σώθηκε την τελευταία στιγμή από την οικονομική στήριξη της κυβέρνησης των ΗΠΑ.
A 12-core, 24-thread beast! Upgraded from an already good Ryzen 7 3800X, thinking I would see significant benefits, but it wasn't necessary! It's simply EVEN better than an already good and fast processor!
There are differences (let's not zero them all out) compared to the previous generation - if you look into it here and there, and if you're coming from processors from, for example, 2016-17 (and earlier), you'll see them IMMEDIATELY.... but it's not the ideal (in terms of cost) for the average user or non-competitive gamer who just wants to play their normal games or do work - it's not aimed at them, but at demanding and insatiable users with fps and heavy processes/VMs, databases, editing/rendering, etc!
Κτηνακι 12 πυρηνων και 24 threads! Αναβαθμιση απο ηδη καλο ryzen 7 3800Χ νομιζοντας οτι θα εχω σοβαρα οφελη αλλα τελικα δεν ηταν αναγκαιο! Ειναι απλα ΑΚΟΜΑ πιο καλος απο εναν ηδη καλο και γρηγορο επεξεργαστη!
Υπαρχουν διαφορες (μην τα μηδενιζουμε ολα) σε σχεση με την προηγουμενη γενια - αν το ψαξεις απο εδω και εκει, και αν ερχεσαι απο επεξεργαστες πχ του 2016-17 (και πιο πριν) θα τις δεις ΑΜΕΣΑ.... αλλα δεν ειναι ο ιδεατος (απο αποψη κοστους) για τον μεσο χρηστη η non competitive gamer που απλα θελει να παιζει τα παιχνιδια του νορμαλ η να κανει δουλειες - δεν απευθυνεται σε αυτους , αλλα σε απαιτητικους και αχορταγους με τα fps και τα βαρια processes/VMs, DataBases, editing/rendering κλπ!
To avoid freezing, some overclocking will be necessary. There is an issue with power management. It's not a motherboard problem. Check the forums. I don't recommend it.

Unbelievable processor... after extensive research, I found that it is the best for gaming in 4K, it doesn't lag anywhere... don't fall for the hype of the most expensive ones, etc... it's simply for professional purposes like Photoshop, etc.
Definitely, it has a high temperature, it can't be both good and quiet, but with liquid cooling, you're perfect. It doesn't lag anywhere.

Upgrade from 3700x. I was torn between the 5800x and the 5900x. However, since I also needed it for video editing, I went with the 5900x. Through bios curve optimizer -25. Temperatures with aida64 max 64 with aio Arctic liquid freezer ii 280. Max boost all core at 4.950. Tremendous in every aspect. Combined with a Gigabyte rtx 3070 ti, completely satisfied. Comes in a case with 8 fans. I hope I helped!

The best processor I've had so far has performed very well! I overclocked it to 5.2 GHz on the first 6 cores and 5.0 GHz on the last 6 cores, along with PBO +200 MHz and an undervolt curve of 25. It runs everything smoothly and doesn't crash even when paired with an RX 6800 XT. Temperatures range from 28 to 70C in a room with 18C ambient temperature. I got it for a great price of 400 euros!

Του εκανα OC στα 5.2 Ghz τα πρώτα 6 cores και 5.0 Ghz τελευταία 6 cores μαζί με pbo +200 MHz και με undervolt curve 25.
Τρεχει τα παντα και δεν κολλαει πουθενα ουτε για πλακα παρεα με μια RX 6800 XT.
Θερμοκρασιες από 28 μέχρι 70C σε δωματιο με 18C ambient.
Το πηρα στα 400 Ευρω που ηταν τρομερη τιμη!

I have it since September 2021. After 1 year of 8-10 hours of video editing per day, I believe it is the best processor available for this use at the moment. Maybe even some GTA V occasionally :P. I have paired it with an Asus TUF X570 Plus, Gigabyte 2060, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200MHz, Be Quiet Silent Loop 2 240mm, and Samsung 980 Pro 2TB. Liquid cooling is a must for prolonged use with this specific processor.

Μετα απο 1 χρονο 8-10 ωρες video editing την ημερα πιστευω πως ειναι ο καλυτερος επεξεργαστης που υπαρχει αυτη τη στιγμη γι αυτη τη χρηση.. αντε και κανα gta v που και που :Ρ.. τον εχω συνδυάσει με asus tuf x570 plus, gigabyte 2060, g,skill trident z rgb 3200mghz, be quite silent loop 2 240mm και samsung 980 pro 2tb. στον συγκεκριμένο επεξεργαστη η υδρόψυξη ειναι must για πολυωρη χρηση.
An excellent processor at a price now below €400, which is what a 3700x-3800x cost 1-2 years ago. With an Asus B550 prime plus motherboard, it runs smoothly at 4.95GHz (single-thread) and reaches over 5.2GHz with the motherboard's stock settings. With an air-cooled Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo cooler with two fans, it reached just 80.3°C in stress tests during the hot summer, while the cooler is completely silent. Of course, the case's airflow and type of cooling also play a role. In my system, I have two 140mm fans in the front, and the case has plenty of space, even though it's a Midi Tower. It usually doesn't exceed 78-79°C (in the summer) in heavy applications I run. It's definitely overkill for everyday tasks, but it's worth the money if someone wants to run heavy applications or games.
Άριστος επεξεργαστής σε τιμή πλέον κάτω από 400€, όσο δηλαδή έκανε ένας 3700x-3800x πριν από 1-2 χρόνια. Με μητρική Asus B550 prime plus τρέχει άνετα με χρονισμό 4,95GHz (single-thread) και φτάνει και πάνω από 5,2GHz με τις stock ρυθμίσεις της μητρικής. Με αερόψυκτη ψύξτρα Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duο με δύο ανεμιστήρες έφτασε σε stress test μόλις 80,3 °C μέσα στο κατακαλόκαιρο, ενώ η ψύκτρα αυτή είναι εντελώς αθόρυβη. Φυσικά παίζει ρόλο το airflow του κουτιού και τι είδους ψύξη έχει. Στο δικό μου σύστημα έχω δύο fans 140mm μπροστά και το κουτί έχει μεγάλο χώρο αν και Midi Tower. Συνήθως δεν ξεπερνάει τους 78-79 °C (το καλοκαίρι) σε βαριά application που τρέχω. Σίγουρα είναι overkill για καθημερινές εργασίες, αλλά αξίξει τα χρήματα αν θέλει κάποιος να τρέχει βαριές εφαρμογές ή παιχνίδια.

Γεια σας, σκευτομαι για upgrade απο ryzen 5 1400 με stock cooler που εχω χρονια τωρα. Εχω Gigabyte GA ab350 gaming 3 motherboard. Χρειαζομαι συγκεκριμενα watt για τροφοδοτικο? Τι cooler πρεπει να παρω για να μην εχω προβλημα (air cooling)?
Αν και δε μας λες σχεδόν τίποτα για το σύστημα σου και τη χρήση του, δε μπορώ να σου προτείνω κάτι πάνω στο τροφοδοτικό, όμως θα σου γράψω μερικά πράγματα που πρέπει να ξέρεις για το upgrade που θέλεις να κάνεις, και κρίνε από κει και πέρα πως θα κινηθείς.
O 5900x έχει TDP 105W, αλλά ο cpu αυτός τραβάει μέχρι και 142W σε stock.
Για ψύκτρα θα δεις μια που να υπερκαλύπτει σίγουρα αυτά τα watt.
Ο r5 1400 έχει TDP 65W, οπότε η ψύκτρα του είναι ακατάλληλη για τον 5900x.
Εφόσον θέλεις αερόψυξη κοίταξε κάτι ανάμεσα σε:
Noctua NH-D15NH-D15 chromax.black,
Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 5 αν όχι αυτή τότε την μη pro έκδοση της,
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE.
Έχε στο νου ότι είναι αρκετά μεγάλες σε όγκο ψύκτρες και οι 3 αυτές, με ότι αυτό συνεπάγεται από άποψη χώρου που καταλαμβάνουν, πχ αν μπορεί να κλείσει το κουτί ή αν εμποδίζουν τις ram ή άλλο εξάρτημα κτλ.
Καλύτερα τσέκαρε τις προδιαγραφές του κουτιού σου και της κάθε ψύκτρας, πριν προχωρήσεις σε αγορά.
Η μητρική σου, αν και με αρκετά παλιό chipset, υποστηρίζει(πλέον) τον 5900x όμως σημείωσε τα εξής:
Πρέπει να φοράς τουλάχιστον bios έκδοση T52d/ F52h για να παίξει, αλλιώς πριν αλλάξεις κάνε bios update στην τελευταία διαθέσιμη έκδοση.

Με οποιαδήποτε άλλη έκδοση από 1.1 και πάνω δεν έχεις να κολλήσεις κάπου, απλώς θα κάνεις bios update.
Αν ρωτάς εμένα, δεν αξίζει να μπει ο cpu αυτός πάνω σε b350 chipset, είναι αρχαίο, χάνεις διάφορα νεότερης τεχνολογίας. Θα αγόραζα μαζί μια b550 μητρική για να είχα το κεφάλι μου ήσυχο.
Τέλος, αν δεν είσαι σίγουρος για τα διαθέσιμα watt του τροφοδοτικού σου, βρες έναν PSU calculator και δες τί καταναλώνει το pc σου και πόσα watt μένουν από τη συνολική ισχύ του τροφοδοτικού σου.

Καλησπέρα, σκέφτομαι να αγοράσω τον επεξεργαστή, και θα ήθελα να ρωτήσω με ποια υδρόψυξη θα τον συνδυάζατε , γιατί με βάση τις αξιολογήσεις, βλέπω πως οι περισσότεροι χρήστες προτιμούν την υδρόψυξη !
Καλησπέρα. Εξαρτάτε απο το πόσα μπορείς να διαθέσεις, αλλα και τι χώρο έχεις διαθέσιμο.
Έχω τον συγκεκριμένο επεξεργαστή και αρχικά τον είχα με μια Corsair H110i 280mm (130€ το 2017). Τον κρατούσε σε ικανοποιητική θερμοκρασία σε οποιαδήποτε εργασία. Σε παιχνίδια ο επεξεργαστής είναι γύρω στα 100-110W και με αυτή την υδροψυξη κατα μέσο όρο έπαιζε στους 60-62C. Σε πλήρες φορτίο, 140-150W παρέμενε κοντα στους 70C. Οι 5000 έχουν ανώτερη θερμοκρασία λειτουργίας τους 90C, και κρίσιμη πάνω απο 100C. Βεβαια καλό θα ήταν να παραμένουν κατω απο 80C για παρατεταμένο διάστημα.
O θόρυβος ήταν μέτριος στα παιχνίδια και σχετικά υψηλός σε πλήρες φορτίο. Την άλλαξα πριν 4-5 μηνες επειδη είχε 6,5χρονια λειτουργίας. Πήρα μια Liquid Freezer-II 420mm στα 95€. Οι θερμοκρασία βελτιώθηκε ελάχιστα αλλα η μεγαλύτερη διαφορά είναι στον θόρυβο. Πλεον η ψύξη του επεξεργαστή είναι αθόρυβη σε παιχνίδια, και ακούγεται ελάχιστα σε ησυχία και μόνο όταν είναι σε πλήρες φορτιο. Με την χρήση που κάνω δεν ακούω ποτέ τίποτα. Πριν 2 μήνες περίπου κυκλοφόρησε η Arctic νεα βελτιωμένα μοντέλα, τα Freezer-III σε ίδιες τιμές με τα Freezer-II. Σίγουρα υπάρχουν καλύτερες υδροψυξεις αλλα είναι και ακριβότερες. Γενικά όσο πιο μεγάλη είναι τοσο πιο αθόρυβη θα είναι. Υπάρχουν και ψήκτρες αέρα που μπορούν να κρατήσουν τη θερμοκρασία στο επίπεδα που περιέγραψα παραπάνω αλλά δεν είμαι σίγουρος οτι μπορούν να το κάνουν με ίδιο θόρυβο. Επισης η πολύ καλές αεροψήκτρες είναι και αρκετά μεγάλες σε όγκο και μάλλον και σε βάρος. Προσωπικά προτιμώ την ΑΙΟ υδροψυξη και δύσκολα θα ξαναβάλω air-tower.

I've had it since day one (2020) for gaming, it never let me down, no black screen or any other kind of crash, but I'll change it to go to DDR5, I'll frame it to remember it :)

The best for am4. It doesn't lag anywhere and is very stable. Only for many older motherboards it may require a bios update to work. Still, it remains the best choice on the platform for its price.

I won't say much about this particular processor.. it has never disappointed me, I have tested it in everything and it has held up... I am simply parting with it due to an upgrade and changing camps... I highly recommend it with closed eyes for the price it is now too

Purchased as an upgrade from a 3700x. It's incredible even now, it holds up well and doesn't struggle with anything! With an undervolt and overclock, it will have amazing results and will be quite cool. I'm running it at 4.6ghz with a max temp of 65 degrees with an NZXT 360mm, I would recommend a good water cooler or a good heatsink.

I've had it for a year and a half now. Even now, it is a truly respectable processor. I use it for bulk photo and video editing. At the same time, due to my work, I design with 3D programs and vector graphic software, with many different programs and web pages open simultaneously. I have two monitors and multiple desktops loaded.
It doesn't lag at all. I don't remember it crashing even once since I got it.
It is still a tool processor even now. I also play my games just fine, let's mention that.

I don't see any reason to upgrade my system. Even now, for all my work and gaming needs, it's perfectly fine. I don't even know how many windows I have open simultaneously in Chrome while Spotify, 3D design programs (Fusion 3D, SolidWorks), vector graphics (Inkscape, LightBurn), and Superslicer (a program that slices 3D files for a 3D printer) are running at the same time. Sometimes I leave all of these open while I wait for some of my tasks to finish and I even open a game.

Δεν βρίσκω κάποιο λόγο να αναβαθμίσω το σύστημά μου. Ακόμα και τώρα για όλες μου τις ανάγκες εργασίας και gaming είναι μια χαρά. Δεν ξέρω κι εγώ πόσα παράθυρα έχω ταυτόχρονα ανοιχτά στον chrome ενώ ταυτόχρονα τρέχουν spotify, σχεδιαστικά προγράμματα 3d (fusion 3d, solidworks), vector grafics (inkscape, lightburn), superslicer (πρόγραμμα που κόβει τρισδιάστατα αρχεία για 3d printer). Ενώ καμιά φορά τα αφήνω ανοιχτά όλα αυτά όσο περιμένω να τελειώσει κάποια από τις δουλειές και ανοίγω και κανά game.
What can we say about this processor? Simply that it is the best value for money currently available! Without changing the motherboard, staying on AM4, with a price of 260 euros, it is the best you can get! It doesn't understand anything and runs everything lightning fast. Personally, I use it for photo and video editing, in combination with 64gb of RAM and a 3060 12gb, and it flies! With proper undervolting, in a be quiet 500dx case and with air cooling (yes, air cooling!) be quiet dark rock slim, it works at 40-42 degrees idle and never exceeds 74 degrees in stress tests!

Coming from a 5600x and not wanting to change the whole platform to do productivity tasks beyond gaming, I was torn between the 5800x3d and the 5900x. I ended up with this one based on the graphics card I have installed (Sapphire Rx6700, where the 5800x3d wouldn't make a big difference) and the work involving video editing, databases, etc. The difference is day and night.
Installed on a gigabyte aorus x470 gaming and Arctic Liquid Freezer II cooling. In terms of performance, I don't even discuss it, ~300 euros for 12 cores I think is the golden mean if you don't want to change the platform from AM4. Finally, databases like SQL/MariaDB have "come alive" and in video editing, the times have dropped dramatically.
In terms of temperatures, I haven't seen anything above 65-70 degrees in stress tests with PBO +100 and curve optimizer -20 (the liquid freezer ii also does a fantastic job).
In games, it's a little different. In most games, I didn't see big differences, except for some (F1 23, for example, which went from ~155 to ~180 with the same settings). On the other hand, as I mentioned at the beginning, it wasn't a choice based on games mainly but productivity, as work brings upgrades and games.
For those who are already on AM4 (5700x and below), it's a very good choice for work primarily but also for games. For those who have a PC for gaming mainly with a powerful graphics card (4070, 7800xt and above), the 5800x3d would be a better choice.
Update 29/07/24:
After using the processor for several months and changing the motherboard to MSI x570A-Pro, I noticed what some mentioned about increased temperatures without anything else changing except for the motherboard.
I did some checks and changes in thermal paste (Kryonaught), without seeing any improvement and the temperatures were rising up to 75-80 degrees with AIO Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240. What I noticed on the X570 chipset was that, compared to the x470 which went up to 145 watts, on the x570 the consumption went up to 190-200 watts and that was the reason for the temperature increase. By turning off all the CPU's OC features (PBO, etc.), the consumption decreased and the temperature dropped below 70 degrees.
I recommend caution with these specific chipsets (X570, B550) as I noticed that they have the CPU wattage consumption "free" as well as the voltage raised by default.

Κατέληξα σε αυτόν με κριτίριο την κάρτα γραφικών που έχω εγκατεστημένη (Sapphire Rx6700, όπου ο 5800x3d δεν θα έκανε μεγάλη διαφορά) και την εργασία που αφορά επεξεργασία βίντεο, βάσεις δεδομένων κλπ. Η διαφορά είναι μέρα με την νύχτα.
Τοποθετήθηκε σε gigabyte aorus x470 gaming και υδρόψυξη arctic liquid freezer II. Από επιδόσεις δεν το συζητάω, ~300 ευρώ για 12 cores νομίζω είναι η χρυσή τομή αν δεν θέλεις να αλλάξεις πλατφόρμα από ΑΜ4. Επιτέλους βάσεις δεδομένων όπως sql/mariadb έχουν "ζωντανέψει" και σε video edit οι χρόνοι έχουν πέσει δραματικά.
Από θερμοκρασίες δεν έχω δει πάνω από 65-70 βαθμούς σε stress tests με PBO +100 και curve optimizer -20 (είναι και η liquid freezer ii που κάνει φανταστική δουλειά).

Update 29/07/24:
Έπειτα από χρήση του επεξεργαστή για αρκετούς μήνες και αλλαγή της motherboard σε MSI x570A-Pro, παρατήρησα αυτό που ανέφεραν κάποιοι για ανεβασμένες θερμοκρασίες χωρίς να έχει αλλάξει κάτι άλλο εκτός από την motherboard.
Έκανα κάποιους ελέγχους και αλλαγές θερμοαγώγιμης (Kryonaught), χωρίς να βλέπω βελτίωση και οι θερμοκρασίες ανέβαιναν μέχρι 75-80 βαθμούς με AIO Arctic liquid freezer II 240. Αυτό που παρατήρησα στο X570 chipset, ήταν πως, σε σχέση με το x470 που ανέβαζε κατανάλωση μέχρι 145watt, στο x570 η κατανάλωση πήγαινε μέχρι 190-200watt και ήταν ο λόγος που ανέβαζε θερμοκρασία. κλείνοντας όλα τα OC χαρακτηρηστικά της cpu (PBO κλπ) κατέβηκε η κατανάλωση και η θερμοκρασία κάτω από τους 70 βαθμούς.
Συνηστώ προσοχή στα συγκεκριμένα chipset (X570, B550) καθώς παρατήρησα ότι έχουν "ελέυθερη" την κατανάλωση watt της cpu όπως και τα volt ανεβασμένα από προεπιλογή.

What I have to say is that this is a very good processor for any task you do. If you want a good computer, it is a very good choice. Personally, I didn't see any temperature issues. Pure power for applications that push the limits of multiple cores, very fast rendering with DaVinci Resolve, and works idle in most games so far. Requires good cooling, either liquid or air, I keep mine cool with a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 with great ease. It makes some noise when temperatures rise, but they drop quickly. I'm waiting for summer to see how temperatures will be. If someone only wants to play games, it's an overkill choice (like the R9 5950), but if it's also intended for video/photo production/streaming, it's a great value for money. With a good graphics card, it can handle everything quietly and at very good FPS on high/ultra settings. I run it stock without tweaking it in any way.
Καθαρη δυναμη για εφαρμογες που οι παραπανω πυρηνες δειχνουν τα δοντιας του, πολυ γρηγορη παραγωγη με το DaVinci resovle, στα games δουλευει idle μεχρι στιγμης στα περισσοτερα. Θελέι καλη ψυχτρα, ειτε υδροψυξη ειτε αεροψυξη, εμενα τον κραταει δροσερο μια BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 με μεγαλη ευκολια, ακουγεται οταν ανεβαζει θερμοκρασιες αλλα κατεβαινουν πολυ γρηγορα, περιμενω το καλοκαιρι να δω πας θα ειναι οι θερμοκρασιες. Αμα το θελει καποιος μονο games ειναι overkill επιλογη(οπως και ο R9 5950), αλλα αμα προοριζεται και για παραγωγη βιντεο/φωτογραφιας/streaming ειναι πολυ VFM, με μια καλη καρτουλα κανει τα παντα αθορυβα και σε πολυ καλα FPS στα high/ultra. Τον τρεχω stock χωρις να το εχω πειραξει σε κανενα σημειο με κανεναν τροπο.

Initially, I believe that product reviews have real value when made after long-term use. Although I bought this CPU as soon as it was released, I waited a long time so I could provide more objective and reliable information. For years now, AMD has been making clearly better CPUs than Intel (except for certain models in the AMD Bulldozer CPU series). I have been using this CPU for about 2.5 years since the first day it was released, and I am confident that I can comfortably use it for at least another 5 years.
To understand how ridiculous Intel fanboys are, you can compare the Ryzen 9 5900X with its Intel rival, the i9-10900K. There are dozens of test videos and articles. Social media has now evolved and people can easily be heard worldwide. That is, the black propaganda that Intel used against AMD with its financial power no longer works.
In some Adobe programs, the i9-10900K may appear superior, but this is solely due to corporate agreements between Adobe and Intel. For this reason, Adobe developers implement software restrictions for AMD CPUs.
The Ryzen 9 5900X is more than enough for both rendering and gaming. If your goal is exclusively gaming, it might be worth looking at an X3D CPU. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend using at least a 360 mm liquid cooler, although quality air coolers can also perform excellently (like several Noctua solutions). Also, since it will be used in a hot climate like Greece, a mesh case with very good airflow is the best choice.
Overall, this is an extremely powerful processor for the AM4 platform and for all kinds of use. Its real rival is not the i9-10900K but also the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.
It is worth clarifying this: the real rival of the Ryzen 9 5900X is the i9-10900K. However, to be able to compete, Intel released the i9-11900K against the Ryzen 9 5900X. But even here, the Ryzen 9 5900X still had better performance.

Dear Intel fanboys, there is no reason for such behavior. Blindly supporting a company is simply a lack of judgment. We AMD users want real competition so that we can have better processors at more reasonable prices. If one day Intel makes a truly superior processor to AMD, of course I will use Intel. However, due to the lack of competition, AMD now sells the AM5 processors at very high prices, while Intel has reached a particularly difficult position as a company. And this is because many users accepted whatever Intel did without criticism. Especially when Intel’s 12th, 13th, and 14th generation series are essentially almost identical to each other, this fact is now clear.)
Update (May 25, 2026): I started doing gaming livestreams with two computers. That’s why I have now moved the Ryzen 9 5900X to my second computer, which I use for streaming. On my main computer, I use the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Unfortunately, even in 2026, Intel still cannot compete with AMD. I am eagerly waiting for Intel to finally make a comeback.
Moreover, because users no longer prefer Intel CPUs, the company itself was one step away from bankruptcy and was saved at the last moment by financial support from the US government.
Αρχικά, πιστεύω πως οι αξιολογήσεις προϊόντων έχουν πραγματική αξία όταν γίνονται μετά από μακροχρόνια χρήση. Παρόλο που αγόρασα αυτόν τον CPU αμέσως μόλις κυκλοφόρησε, περίμενα αρκετό καιρό ώστε να μπορώ να δώσω πιο αντικειμενικές και αξιόπιστες πληροφορίες. Η AMD εδώ και χρόνια κατασκευάζει σαφώς καλύτερους CPUs από την Intel (αν εξαιρέσουμε ορισμένα μοντέλα της σειράς AMD Bulldozer CPUs). Όσοι ασχολούνται σοβαρά με τους PC, έχουν εμπειρία με CPUs AMD ή είναι γνώστες του χώρου, συμφωνούν σε αυτό. Δεν αναφέρομαι στους κλόουν που στα Facebook groups το παίζουν «τεχνικοί υπολογιστών» και κάνουν fanboyισμό υπέρ της Intel.
Ειδικά από τη στιγμή που η AMD κυκλοφόρησε τους Ryzen CPUs, η Intel δεν μπορεί πλέον να ανταγωνιστεί πραγματικά και έχει περάσει σε δεύτερο ρόλο και οι CPUs AMD χρησιμοποιούνται ολοένα και περισσότερο παγκοσμίως.
Η AMD ουσιαστικά έδωσε το τελικό χτύπημα στην Intel με τον Ryzen 9 5900X.
Ο Ryzen 9 5900X λειτουργεί σταθερά στα 5.1 GHz με ενεργοποιημένο PBO, ακόμη και υπό φορτίο στους 85°C.

Χρησιμοποιώ αυτόν τον CPU εδώ και περίπου 2,5 χρόνια από την πρώτη μέρα κυκλοφορίας του και είμαι βέβαιος ότι μπορώ να τον χρησιμοποιώ άνετα για τουλάχιστον άλλα 5 χρόνια.
Για να καταλάβετε πόσο γελοίοι είναι οι fanboys της Intel, μπορείτε να συγκρίνετε τον Ryzen 9 5900X με τον αντίπαλό του από την πλευρά της Intel, τον i9-10900K. Υπάρχουν δεκάδες βίντεο δοκιμών και άρθρα. Πλέον τα social media έχουν εξελιχθεί και οι άνθρωποι μπορούν εύκολα να ακουστούν παγκοσμίως. Δηλαδή, η μαύρη προπαγάνδα που έκανε η Intel εναντίον της AMD με την οικονομική της δύναμη έχει πλέον πάψει να λειτουργεί.
Σε ορισμένα προγράμματα της Adobe, ο i9-10900K μπορεί να φαίνεται ανώτερος, όμως αυτό οφείλεται αποκλειστικά στις εταιρικές συμφωνίες μεταξύ της Adobe και της Intel. Γι’ αυτόν τον λόγο, οι προγραμματιστές της Adobe εφαρμόζουν λογισμικούς περιορισμούς για τους CPUs AMD.
Ο Ryzen 9 5900X είναι υπεραρκετός τόσο για rendering όσο και για gaming. Αν ο στόχος σας είναι αποκλειστικά το gaming, ίσως αξίζει περισσότερο να κοιτάξετε κάποιον X3D CPUs. Παρ’ όλα αυτά, συνιστώ οπωσδήποτε χρήση υδρόψυξης τουλάχιστον 360 mm, αν και και οι ποιοτικές αερόψυκτρες μπορούν να αποδώσουν εξαιρετικά (όπως αρκετές λύσεις της Noctua). Επίσης, επειδή θα χρησιμοποιηθεί σε θερμό κλίμα όπως της Ελλάδας, ένα mesh κουτί με πολύ καλό airflow είναι η καλύτερη επιλογή.
Γενικά, πρόκειται για έναν εξαιρετικά δυνατό επεξεργαστή για την πλατφόρμα AM4 και για κάθε είδους χρήση. Ο πραγματικός του αντίπαλος δεν είναι ο i9-10900K αλλά ο επίσης AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.
Αξίζει να το ξεκαθαρίσουμε αυτό: ο πραγματικός αντίπαλος του Ryzen 9 5900X είναι ο i9-10900K. Ωστόσο, για να μπορέσει να ανταγωνιστεί, η Intel κυκλοφόρησε τον i9-11900K απέναντι στον Ryzen 9 5900X. Αλλά και εδώ, ο Ryzen 9 5900X είχε και πάλι καλύτερες επιδόσεις.
Δεν χρειάζονται περισσότερα λόγια.
(Ορισμένοι fanboys της Intel προσπαθούν να παραπλανήσουν όσους ενδιαφέρονται για τον Ryzen 9 5900X, κάνοντας αρνητικές αξιολογήσεις στο σχόλιό μου. Υπάρχουν δεκάδες βίντεο δοκιμών στο YouTube και πάρα πολλά άρθρα στο διαδίκτυο. Δείτε τα και θα καταλάβετε ακριβώς τι εννοώ.
Αγαπητοί fanboys της Intel, δεν υπάρχει λόγος για τέτοια συμπεριφορά. Το να υποστηρίζει κανείς τυφλά μια εταιρεία είναι απλώς αδυναμία κρίσης. Εμείς οι χρήστες AMD θέλουμε πραγματικό ανταγωνισμό, ώστε να έχουμε καλύτερους επεξεργαστές σε πιο λογικές τιμές. Αν κάποια μέρα η Intel κατασκευάσει πραγματικά ανώτερο επεξεργαστή από την AMD, φυσικά και θα χρησιμοποιήσω Intel. Εξαιτίας όμως της έλλειψης ανταγωνισμού, η AMD πλέον πουλά τους AM5 επεξεργαστές σε πολύ υψηλές τιμές, ενώ η Intel έχει φτάσει σε ιδιαίτερα δύσκολη θέση ως εταιρεία. Και αυτό γιατί πολλοί χρήστες αποδέχονταν χωρίς κριτική ό,τι έκανε η Intel. Όταν μάλιστα οι σειρές 12ης, 13ης και 14ης γενιάς της Intel είναι ουσιαστικά σχεδόν ίδιες μεταξύ τους, το γεγονός αυτό είναι πλέον ξεκάθαρο.)
Ενημέρωση (25 Μαΐου 2026): Άρχισα να κάνω gaming livestreams με δύο υπολογιστές. Γι’ αυτό μετέφερα πλέον τον Ryzen 9 5900X στον δεύτερο υπολογιστή μου, που χρησιμοποιώ για το streaming. Στον κύριο υπολογιστή μου χρησιμοποιώ τον Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Δυστυχώς, η Intel και το 2026 εξακολουθεί να μην μπορεί να ανταγωνιστεί την AMD. Περιμένω με ανυπομονησία η Intel να κάνει επιτέλους ένα comeback.
Επιπλέον, επειδή οι χρήστες πλέον δεν προτιμούν τους CPUs της Intel, η ίδια η εταιρεία βρέθηκε ένα βήμα πριν από τη χρεοκοπία και σώθηκε την τελευταία στιγμή από την οικονομική στήριξη της κυβέρνησης των ΗΠΑ.
A 12-core, 24-thread beast! Upgraded from an already good Ryzen 7 3800X, thinking I would see significant benefits, but it wasn't necessary! It's simply EVEN better than an already good and fast processor!
There are differences (let's not zero them all out) compared to the previous generation - if you look into it here and there, and if you're coming from processors from, for example, 2016-17 (and earlier), you'll see them IMMEDIATELY.... but it's not the ideal (in terms of cost) for the average user or non-competitive gamer who just wants to play their normal games or do work - it's not aimed at them, but at demanding and insatiable users with fps and heavy processes/VMs, databases, editing/rendering, etc!
Κτηνακι 12 πυρηνων και 24 threads! Αναβαθμιση απο ηδη καλο ryzen 7 3800Χ νομιζοντας οτι θα εχω σοβαρα οφελη αλλα τελικα δεν ηταν αναγκαιο! Ειναι απλα ΑΚΟΜΑ πιο καλος απο εναν ηδη καλο και γρηγορο επεξεργαστη!
Υπαρχουν διαφορες (μην τα μηδενιζουμε ολα) σε σχεση με την προηγουμενη γενια - αν το ψαξεις απο εδω και εκει, και αν ερχεσαι απο επεξεργαστες πχ του 2016-17 (και πιο πριν) θα τις δεις ΑΜΕΣΑ.... αλλα δεν ειναι ο ιδεατος (απο αποψη κοστους) για τον μεσο χρηστη η non competitive gamer που απλα θελει να παιζει τα παιχνιδια του νορμαλ η να κανει δουλειες - δεν απευθυνεται σε αυτους , αλλα σε απαιτητικους και αχορταγους με τα fps και τα βαρια processes/VMs, DataBases, editing/rendering κλπ!
To avoid freezing, some overclocking will be necessary. There is an issue with power management. It's not a motherboard problem. Check the forums. I don't recommend it.
Για να μην κολλάει θα πρέπει να γίνει λίγο overclocking. Έχει θέμα με την διαχείριση του ρεύματος. Δεν είναι πρόβλημα motherboard. Δείτε στα φόρουμ. Δεν την προτείνω
Unbelievable processor... after extensive research, I found that it is the best for gaming in 4K, it doesn't lag anywhere... don't fall for the hype of the most expensive ones, etc... it's simply for professional purposes like Photoshop, etc.
Definitely, it has a high temperature, it can't be both good and quiet, but with liquid cooling, you're perfect. It doesn't lag anywhere.
Απίστευτος επεξεργαστής ..μετα απο μεγάλη έρευνα διαπίστωσα ότι είναι ο πλέον καλύτερος για Gaming σε 4 Κ δεν κολλάει πουθενά .. μην πέσετε στην λούμπα για τους πιο ακριβούς κλπ .. είναι απλά για επαγγελματικούς σκοπούς. Photoshop κλπ κλπ .
Οπωσδήποτε εχει μια Α θερμοκασία δε γίνεται να είναι και καλός και ήσυχος όμως με μια υδρόψηξη είστε τέλειοι . Δε κολλάει πουθενά.
Upgrade from 3700x. I was torn between the 5800x and the 5900x. However, since I also needed it for video editing, I went with the 5900x. Through bios curve optimizer -25. Temperatures with aida64 max 64 with aio Arctic liquid freezer ii 280. Max boost all core at 4.950. Tremendous in every aspect. Combined with a Gigabyte rtx 3070 ti, completely satisfied. Comes in a case with 8 fans. I hope I helped!

The best processor I've had so far has performed very well! I overclocked it to 5.2 GHz on the first 6 cores and 5.0 GHz on the last 6 cores, along with PBO +200 MHz and an undervolt curve of 25. It runs everything smoothly and doesn't crash even when paired with an RX 6800 XT. Temperatures range from 28 to 70C in a room with 18C ambient temperature. I got it for a great price of 400 euros!
Ο καλυτερος επεξεργαστης που ειχα μεχρι τωρα με εχει βγαλει πολυ καλα!
Του εκανα OC στα 5.2 Ghz τα πρώτα 6 cores και 5.0 Ghz τελευταία 6 cores μαζί με pbo +200 MHz και με undervolt curve 25.
Τρεχει τα παντα και δεν κολλαει πουθενα ουτε για πλακα παρεα με μια RX 6800 XT.
Θερμοκρασιες από 28 μέχρι 70C σε δωματιο με 18C ambient.
Το πηρα στα 400 Ευρω που ηταν τρομερη τιμη!
Incredibly fast.. of course, it's excessive only for games... very good at everything, I really can't find anything negative... at 390 that I got it, I believe it's worth every euro...

I have it since September 2021. After 1 year of 8-10 hours of video editing per day, I believe it is the best processor available for this use at the moment. Maybe even some GTA V occasionally :P. I have paired it with an Asus TUF X570 Plus, Gigabyte 2060, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200MHz, Be Quiet Silent Loop 2 240mm, and Samsung 980 Pro 2TB. Liquid cooling is a must for prolonged use with this specific processor.

Μετα απο 1 χρονο 8-10 ωρες video editing την ημερα πιστευω πως ειναι ο καλυτερος επεξεργαστης που υπαρχει αυτη τη στιγμη γι αυτη τη χρηση.. αντε και κανα gta v που και που :Ρ.. τον εχω συνδυάσει με asus tuf x570 plus, gigabyte 2060, g,skill trident z rgb 3200mghz, be quite silent loop 2 240mm και samsung 980 pro 2tb. στον συγκεκριμένο επεξεργαστη η υδρόψυξη ειναι must για πολυωρη χρηση.
An excellent processor at a price now below €400, which is what a 3700x-3800x cost 1-2 years ago. With an Asus B550 prime plus motherboard, it runs smoothly at 4.95GHz (single-thread) and reaches over 5.2GHz with the motherboard's stock settings. With an air-cooled Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo cooler with two fans, it reached just 80.3°C in stress tests during the hot summer, while the cooler is completely silent. Of course, the case's airflow and type of cooling also play a role. In my system, I have two 140mm fans in the front, and the case has plenty of space, even though it's a Midi Tower. It usually doesn't exceed 78-79°C (in the summer) in heavy applications I run. It's definitely overkill for everyday tasks, but it's worth the money if someone wants to run heavy applications or games.
Άριστος επεξεργαστής σε τιμή πλέον κάτω από 400€, όσο δηλαδή έκανε ένας 3700x-3800x πριν από 1-2 χρόνια. Με μητρική Asus B550 prime plus τρέχει άνετα με χρονισμό 4,95GHz (single-thread) και φτάνει και πάνω από 5,2GHz με τις stock ρυθμίσεις της μητρικής. Με αερόψυκτη ψύξτρα Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duο με δύο ανεμιστήρες έφτασε σε stress test μόλις 80,3 °C μέσα στο κατακαλόκαιρο, ενώ η ψύκτρα αυτή είναι εντελώς αθόρυβη. Φυσικά παίζει ρόλο το airflow του κουτιού και τι είδους ψύξη έχει. Στο δικό μου σύστημα έχω δύο fans 140mm μπροστά και το κουτί έχει μεγάλο χώρο αν και Midi Tower. Συνήθως δεν ξεπερνάει τους 78-79 °C (το καλοκαίρι) σε βαριά application που τρέχω. Σίγουρα είναι overkill για καθημερινές εργασίες, αλλά αξίξει τα χρήματα αν θέλει κάποιος να τρέχει βαριές εφαρμογές ή παιχνίδια.
I've had it since day one (2020) for gaming, it never let me down, no black screen or any other kind of crash, but I'll change it to go to DDR5, I'll frame it to remember it :)

It arrived to me with a crooked chipset, I obviously sent it back and they DO NOT take responsibility because it was considered my fault... and they don't do any replacement... it's not worth it, I have taken legal action, the necessary steps will be taken!
ΜΟΥ ηρθε με στραβα chipset, το εστειλα πισω προφανως και ΔΕΝ αναλαμβανουν την ευθυνη διοτι θεωρηθηκε δικο μου λαθος...και κανουν καμια αντικατασταση...δ πρζει εχω κινηθει νομικα θα γινουν τα προβλεπομενα!
After the Ryzen 5 2400G, this is like day and night. It satisfies me in every way, and together with the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140, it achieves low temperatures even during rendering in DaVinci Resolve.
Μετά από ryzen 5 2400g σε αυτό είναι η μέρα με τα μαύρα μεσάνυχτα.Με ικανοποιεί στα πάντα και μαζί με thermalright peerless assassin 140 πιάνει χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες ακόμα και σε render στο davinci resolve.
