The M27Q was released in 2020, but this is the 2022 model. Does this mean it's the rev.2 edition, which no longer has the BGR subpixel layer (meaning that text is harder to read)? The main difference on the rev.2 box is that it says it has 165Hz refresh rate, but can go to 170Hz with overclocking. Can anyone confirm this, those who have bought it recently? You can see the box differences on some YouTube videos.

well i am kinda late but anyways, some have the old model rev1 and some rev2 .I bought today the rev2 165hz after confirming with the seller that was the right model i asked them to check the packaging where its written that the monitor is 165hz or 170hz and obviously i picked the 165hz.

Btw i have no clue if you got what you wanted to buy but in case you still looking for it and willing to spent up to 450 for 32inch MSI monitor which is better compared to the gigabyte m27q rev2 check this one its on offer and is freaking good price MSI Optix MPG321QRF-QD
