For me, in the last few months, it has started to rattle and the intake can be heard. Caution in the rain because being of open type, it pulls in quite a bit of moisture and water if it falls on it or if there are puddles due to the gutter. For me, since the filter is located just below the gutter, it causes stuttering until it warms up (only in the rain). Overall, it does what it promises
