Saint Catherine is a marvelous example of a young noblewoman from Alexandria, Egypt, who was endowed with exceptional physical beauty and such great wisdom that she was able to confront the wisest pagans of her time.

And yet, when she encountered the true God, she sacrificed everything—wealth, comforts, and glory—to remain eternally close to Christ.
