Couldn’t actually tell you if it does anything in terms of improving shaving results, but it feels really nice to the skin. A nice addition to my shaving routine but a lot less important than all other aspects like shaving creams, razors, aftershaves, alum blocks, etc.

Softens and lifts the hair of the beard, especially if they haven't been cut for more than three or four days. The scent didn't impress me (the set with the corresponding shaving soap, which had a similar scent, didn't impress me either). If you apply more than necessary, it takes a long time to absorb. Its texture in the bowl is not its strong point. Of course, it comes in a thick glass jar that releases air, reminiscent of traditional shaving. Clearly, with its use, small cuts and irritations are avoided. I will definitely buy pre-shave from this company again, but this particular one, although decent, is one of the products I wanted to finish.
