With this adapter, I connected an old Garmin eTrex GPS to the NIKON D800 for Geotagging. Of course, I had to make a connection cable and modify the eTrex a bit by adding a female jack instead of the existing connection, but there is also a ready-made cable which, however, seemed expensive to me. The solution is very satisfactory. The GPS, with a fairly long cable, can be stored in a pocket/bag, ensuring very good freedom of movement. For those who already have compatible equipment, it is an excellent solution.

Χρειάστηκε βέβαια να κατασκευάσω ένα καλώδιο σύνδεσης και να τροποποιήσω λίγο το eTrex προσθέτοντας ένα θηλυκό jack αντί της υπάρχουσας σύνδεσης αλλά υπάρχει και έτοιμο καλώδιο το οποίο όμως μου φάνημε ακριβό. Η λύση είναι πολύ ικανοποιητική. Το GPS με αρκετά μακρύ καλώδιο μπορεί να αποθηκευθεί σε τσέπη / τσάντα εξασφαλίζοντας πολύ καλή ελευθερία κινήσεων. Για όσους διαθέτουν ήδη συμβατό εξοπλισμό είναι μια εξαιρετική λύση.
