It does what it was bought for. That is, it turns a conventional TV into a smart one for streaming content.

Very good picture, does not disconnect, does not lag, but it may have compatibility issues with the frame of the connected device.

It is the 2nd best option you can buy in "Android TV box". The 1st is the Nvidia Shield, but it is WAY more expensive. It is not super fast, but it is JUST what you need to make your TV "smart". If you find it at a reasonable price, buy it without hesitation, as Google discontinued it due to the next model, and now it is sold at a much higher price due to low availability.

Excellent TV Box or otherwise stick as Google calls it. Nothing to do with the Xiaomi Mi Box that needs a restart every so often... Very convenient in size!

Okay, I'm not saying it doesn't have many apps that one could install to make it more useful.
As for its processor, it's quite fast without any lag. It remains to be seen how it performs in use and under load for me to have a complete opinion.

Very good and useful device! It upgraded my old TV and made it smart. The most significant difference it has from the previous version (which I had also purchased) is that it doesn't require a connection from the mobile phone every time. You connect to the apps you want (Google Play, Netflix, YouTube, Spotify) and it operates and is controlled independently like a regular smart TV with its remote.

Purchased while the price was still at normal levels (~60 euros).

The only "negative" I would say is its remote control, which is not very convenient for cases when you want to type something to search for it, and most of the time I control it through my phone and the Google Home app.

Just remember that anything outside of its software for loading programs and files requires a bit of searching.

I got it when it was at 50-60 where it was a very good deal at that time. Now that I see it close to 200, I suggest you get it from another company, or for the same money, get a new TV that is smart on its own.

Regardless of the price, it is a very good choice for someone who mainly wants to watch movies without spending a lot of money.
The navigation on the UI and the internet generally lags, sometimes it crawls and I don't know why, as it didn't do that when I bought it.

Personally, I find it very convenient that it has Bluetooth, as I like to watch movies with headphones, and it is convenient for quiet hours.

These are the best 80 euros I have spent on a device of this kind. Don't think about it at all; I have an LG smart TV and this is light years ahead in speed and usability. Absolutely satisfied, of course, they have raised the price a lot now.

Received exactly as advertised. Works perfectly. Only issue is that it comes with an American plug but the company included a small adapter so it works fine.

My setup is as follows. Google TV connected to the television (Samsung) and from the television optical fiber to a Samsung soundbar purchased in 2020 that supports Dolby Digital but not Dolby Digital Plus. The result is that the soundbar plays in stereo.. if it had a decoder it would convert the audio format and I would have multichannel sound.
(Note: The soundbar does not have an HDMI or ARC input)
Other than that, it does what it promises. In terms of speed, it is not lightning fast but not slow either.

The best thing I have bought lately. I made the TV in my room smart and now I can watch everything cosmote tv nova netflix YouTube whatever you want. And in amazing picture quality

Don't look for another smart stick. It is very fast and very practical with an Android phone at least. Also, the voice command is very helpful. It even tells you the time!

Very good for older TVs that are no longer supported by the latest versions of apps (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) but also for TVs that are not smart.
I would like the wifi chip to be a bit better/stronger because when I try to stream from the PC to the Chromecast, unfortunately, it lags quite a bit.
Other than that, everything is excellent.

It made my LG UHD TV smart again! LG had stopped supporting software updates for my TV that I had for 10 years, so since September 2024, it couldn't even play NETFLIX. Instead of buying a new smart TV and throwing away mine which otherwise has perfect picture quality, with the Chromecast it feels like I upgraded it.

In applications like Stremio (not Netflix, etc.), 4K lags quite a bit. Other than that, excellent, fast, user-friendly, and practical due to its size for travel, etc

Purchased today from an online store, easy interface, supports the apps I need for video viewing and streaming services. For better image quality, you should select the display settings 4K instead of the 1080p which is default. Technical details and expert fields have been commented on by experienced users. Comes with a USB-C power supply and includes 3 AAA batteries.

You get what you pay for. Perfect in every way. Don't get involved with imitations and cheap solutions. Choose the original and enjoy without worries.

Unacceptable that it has been unable to install for 2:30 hours. A continuous package of updates and installations. It reminds me of old Windows where you would lose a few days waiting for them to install. Fail for now.

Simply an amazing Android Box. Incredible quality on Netflix and YouTube, it works flawlessly with voice, so you don't need to search, you just say "Play this" and if it finds it on any of your subscription services, it plays it. The buttons on the remote can even be programmed for TV and amplifier control, the best thing to make a dumb TV smart and you can take it with you wherever you want. You can cast and control it from your phone, from the assistant, and from Google Home. Hurry up and get it as Google has stopped it and will release the next one, which might be more powerful, but it will be a regular box at double the price, and it won't be as easy to carry on trips. Note that I also have the older Chromecast, which is simply night and day in quality and performance.

It does not work properly with the television for adjusting the volume.... In other words, the remote controls operate separately

It took me quite a while to install it on my LG, it could also be the TV's fault, even though it is 2 years old. Regardless of the difficulty and the lack of installation instructions (which I fortunately found online with a bit of searching), the product in its final form is excellent!

Absolutely satisfied. It loads all the streaming apps and you can watch everything. If you also install a VPN app, you can access content from other countries as long as you have a subscription to some streaming app.

I use it in the living room on the ground floor. It's perfect. The nice thing is that you can find additional apps from those supported by your smart TV. I connected it with google assistant and I can control smart devices in the house.

The only downside for me is that it only works if you plug it into the socket. It doesn't work with USB. I don't know if I should try to connect it to a USB that provides more power if I can avoid using a socket.
