Make it properly and sell it for more, it doesn't matter. Quality is below average, if you’re not careful you won’t be able to play. You remember the old days, nostalgia comes back when you see it, but come on, with these cardboard pieces? The way of playing is very simple, it doesn’t have the special interest the old one had, but for little kids it’s ok. 3 stars for the nostalgia.

A fairly entertaining game of luck and strategy. The build quality of the materials is terrible, especially the cardboard pieces of the game.
As for setting up the board, I think you assemble it once and then leave it as it is, because of the poor quality of the materials and the fact that the box itself is part of the board makes it prohibitive to disassemble the game.

We start with the fact that it's nice for kids to try to solve a puzzle for the construction of the game and to start playing, unfortunately, this collapses because the kids, mainly the younger ones, are hasty and clumsy in assembling, i.e. there at Giochi Preziosi, haven't you come into contact with children?

The traps do not work properly due to poor construction of cheap plastic, the original still works, we bit the plastic and it broke the tooth.

The bases for the characters, probably the adults didn't even try to play among themselves and check if everything stands correctly.

Difficulty level lazy, instead of 6+ think of it as 2+ regarding the level of difficulty, to have more profits.

Much better than the 90s with a different gameplay. It is more difficult to set up but it is overproduced. The only thing I didn't like was that it doesn't have a skull but a boring ball. Be careful how you open the box because it is the game's bottom board

Unfortunately, a big disappointment. A top game from the 90s, made with cheap materials. After playing it 2-3 times, it will be broken. We have the old one for 30 years and it's like new, but this one tears apart from the first time.

We play with our 5-year-old daughter and we have fun too! The assembly was a bit difficult because some pieces seem fragile and that's why we don't put it away when we finish so we don't have to set it up again. Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars because it is a very nice board game!

The board is so easy to break that it is not suitable for children under 10. However, its rules are so simple that it is not suitable for children over 8 years old. The gameplay is similar to the children's board game "Snakes and Ladders". You roll the dice, move forward, if you encounter a ghost or stop on red footsteps, you drop the ball. If the ball lands in the room where your pawn is located, you go back a few spaces. The product is very expensive for the quality of its contents. It breaks very easily.

It is a very nice and entertaining game that children enjoy. It has a bit of suspense that kids like. The disadvantage is that the pieces are made of paper and some of them are plastic, but the castle surrounding it is made of cardboard. For this reason, I give it 4 stars. I would have preferred better quality, but despite that, it is worth the money and it is entertaining. One piece of advice: once you set up the game, do not take the pieces out again because it is very likely that the cardboard will get damaged. Have fun!

Very good board game. I bought it because I already have the previous version that came out almost 20+ years ago and it didn't disappoint me. The only problem is that you use the external boxes for the frame and the fact that it is made of cardboard makes it fragile and I don't know how well it will withstand the test of time.

The game requires a little patience to set up, but it is very entertaining. They developed it from the old ghost castle that I used to play as a kid, and my little one (4 years old) is obsessed with it!!!! Very good!!!

Cheap cardboard construction, for small children aged 5-10 who are still clumsy in their movements, it falls apart at the slightest touch. The combination of the ball and ghost is tiring every time, and the game rules have taken away all the excitement of the previous version that was released in the early 90s. It could have been entirely made of plastic, even if it cost 10 euros more. Also, it is inappropriate to remove the "coffin" and the skull (politically correct and all...) when today all children are accustomed to games, series, bags, shoes, etc. with zombies, vampires, monsters, etc.

Having also the classic Ghost Castle, the only thing that bothered me in the new one is the rules. The wheel that was very essential and the mask that fixed the pawns in their place are missing. It's a big mistake to step on the ghost on every red step.... especially the part with the stairs (which is now at the beginning) can take you a quarter to pass if someone else doesn't finish first. In the 2 games I played with my kids, I got extremely annoyed. Not to mention the second pawn... there you never finish. The kids were impressed with the setup and the traps, but the completion time and the relentless backtracking of the ladder disappointed them.

Good tabletop game with easy rules, however its construction is mainly made of cardboard that folds easily and visually is not nice.

When I saw it on the store shelf, I immediately grabbed it without a second thought. I still have the first ghostcastle from 1985, and I bought this one purely for collection purposes... not that I don't play it occasionally.

If we exclude the fact that it is difficult to assemble and disassemble without any damage, then I would say that it is a very entertaining game that is worth its money for ages 5-10.

Compared to the old version, I would prefer the ball and the throwing method because this one with the little ghost gets a bit tiring...

Very good as a new version of the old game since the "board" is complete with its box, creating walls so that the ball does not get lost. Its duration is satisfactory without being tiring.

On the negative side, I would say that the old art was much better as it was hand-painted, while now it reminds me of a quick job in Photoshop. Also, the construction quality is not great as we had to use glue to make a trap work properly.

Finally, we found a board game that we play almost every day for hours. Very interesting, beautiful scenery of the 4 rooms, and an incredible sense of suspense about where the ball will fall. My children, aged 5.5 and 3.5, enjoy it very much... especially the older one. It's definitely not like the board game of our childhood 30 years ago from MB... but for its price, I think it's fair. If you play it like Uno and don't take care of it... yes, it won't last long... Buy it without fear... if you can find it because it's constantly sold out!

The game is great for its price. I read that when you set it up and take it apart, it gets worn out, while the old MB version was not like that. Since I have both, they have exactly the same wear. It is quite different from its predecessor but also very beautiful. The wear is normal as you are dealing with a children's board game with cardboard, with a little extra care it will last a long time. We play for endless hours and we love it. You and your children will love it too
