Royal Talens Blackboard liquid paint can be applied to porous surfaces such as wood, stone and plaster. It creates a smooth, matte surface suitable for drawing and writing with chalk, and is resistant to wear. After 48 hours, it becomes water-resistant and can be wiped with a damp cloth.

Before application, the surface must be free of grease; no primer is required. 2–3 coats are recommended, with a drying time of 30–45 minutes between coats. Apply with a soft, flat brush or a smooth roller. Clean the tools with warm water.
