The Procab CLA724 cable connects a device with a male XLR output to a device with a male 6.3 mm jack input. It is balanced and made with MC104 cable, for use with instruments and microphones.
Its conductors are made of densely twisted fine bare copper strands and have a cross-section of 28 AWG (0.08 mm). The spiral shield, made from the same material, covers a large part of the cable and helps reduce interference from electromagnetic fields, such as those generated by lighting dimmers, electric motors and power cables. The flexible jacket is made of PVC.
