The Citronic CASA-12BA active subwoofer features a 12" bass driver and a built-in Class D amplifier. The cabinet is made from 15 mm-thick MDF and has two side carry handles, a 35 mm pole-mount socket and a protective steel grille in front of the driver.

The balanced XLR L+R line inputs connect to corresponding link outputs, while the XLR L+R line outputs feature a switchable high-pass filter for connecting active speakers. It can be used as a mono subwoofer with stereo speakers or as a dedicated subwoofer for each speaker. The phase switch helps prevent sound cancellation when using multiple speakers.
