What do users say? AI-generated summary

Users generally report that the cable works properly for connecting DisplayPort to HDMI and appreciate that it provides a simple connection without adapters. It has been used successfully with various computers and monitors, and some users mention its good quality. However, there are also reports that it didn’t work, so its compatibility or reliability appears to be mixed.

It works perfectly for converting the signal from Display Port (computer) to HDMI (screen). I don't know why some say they have problems. I have always used it this way (DP to HDMI) in 5/6 different combinations of computers/screens and every time it works flawlessly. I have even used it in combination with an HDMI over Ethernet kit (Anga EXT60 FHD 60m Cat5e/6 HDMI Extender) and it worked fine there too, sending a signal about 40/50 meters away. I haven't tested extreme resolutions and refresh rates. Anyone wanting extreme resolutions and refresh rates is definitely better off matching their ports rather than using adapters. For a while now, I have permanently set it up to send a signal from the computer to a 55-inch 4K television, and I ordered a second one for my other needs.

I'm not sure if it's the specific cable or the batch that is at fault. I initially bought it to connect a monitor to an old motherboard, but it didn't work. Then I tried it on a working setup: a motherboard that works with both ports and a monitor that works as well. I tried connecting the HDMI to the motherboard and the Display to the monitor, and vice versa, but none of the combinations worked. I can't tell if the cable was initially faulty or if it doesn't do what it claims (to connect the two ports).
