Is it easy to accept an "institutional graft" without roots in the host society? What adaptations are required, and what dilemmas does the "grafting" process create? Can an electoral system that has successfully operated for years in a country like Germany be assimilated by a different society, "famous" for its ability to trivialize and distort every institution?

This work by Professor Thanasis Diamantopoulos attempts to address all these questions. As a member of the scientific committee preparing the new electoral law, he had the opportunity to reflect extensively on the conditions and regulations that could make a radical electoral legislation a starting point and a springboard for breakthroughs with a positive impact and revitalizing direction.
