Description

Escaping from the monstrous Honored Matres - dark counterparts of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood - Duncan Idaho, the strategic mind Bashar Miles Teg, a woman named Sheeana who can communicate with sandworms, and a group of desperate refugees explore the edges of the universe. On the deck of their advanced no-ship, they have used long-stored cells to resurrect heroes and villains from the past, including Paul Muad'Dib, preparing for a final confrontation with a mysterious external enemy so great that it can destroy even the terrifying Honored Matres. And, deep in the hold of their giant ship, the refugees carry the last surviving sandworms from the devastated Arrakis, searching the universe for a new Dune. 'Frank Herbert would surely be glad and proud of this continuation of his visionary idea.' Dean Koontz

Review this product
  • Was it easy to read?
  • Was it interesting enough?
  • I liked the writing style
  • I would read a book by the same author
  • I would recommend it for reading
  • Paper quality
  • This review is about the book: 1

I enjoyed it. It is famous for a reason and i do see how most sci-fi books have taken inspiration from this one. I got chills reading the story a few times, because i was so immersed.

I did become annoyed at some parts where i felt it was unnecessary to drag out some scenes. But thats about it.

I recommend it to everyone that wants a cool sci-fi story that is not over the top. It is political, spiritual and religious, good dialogue and character/world building.
