I have had the headphones in my hands for about 10 hours without stopping being curious about them since I got them.
Because I also own the Beats Studio 3 and because the Sony headphones have been released very recently, I believed that the difference would be noticeable.
The positives of the Sony WH-1000XM4 are the very good application it has, where you can customize several things.
Very user-friendly is the fact that as soon as you take them out of your ears, they stop and start again as soon as you put them back on.
Also very useful is the speak to chat feature, which means that as soon as you start talking, the noise cancellation stops and the sounds of the surroundings become louder! Impressive!
This also happens when you cover the right side of the headphone with your hand.
The ability to connect to 2 devices is also very good, I tried it and everything was fine.
In terms of sound, I expected them to be better than the Studio 3, and I say this with certainty.
This doesn't mean that they don't have very good sound and very good noise cancellation.
With that being said,
I give them 4 stars because they are not worth 400 euros.
AT ALL,
Luckily, I got them for 279 euros on Black Friday, otherwise I would really cry!!
I also believe that if someone doesn't have the extra money, it's better to go for the Sony WH-1000XM3
because the differences are negligible, except for the fact that the 4 can connect to 2 devices simultaneously.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, go for the Sony WH-1000XM3 without hesitation because someone might ask, because iPhones and iPads do not support the ldac codec used by the Sony WH-1000XM4.
What is Ldac? I will provide you with the definition by copying and pasting from Sony's website.
LDAC is an audio encoding technology developed by Sony that allows the transmission of High-Resolution audio content, even via BLUETOOTH connection. Having the iPad Pro 12.8 and trying to connect it to the Sony WH-1000XM4 was disappointing, but while searching on YouTube, I found a guy who explained this exact issue and opened my eyes!

Τα ακουστικά τα έχω στα χέρια μου περίπου 10 ώρες χωρίς να έχω πάψει να τα περιεργαζομαι από τη στιγμή που τα πήρα.
Επειδή είμαι κάτοχος και των beats studio 3 και επειδή τα Sony εχουν κυκλοφορήσει πολύ πρόσφατα πίστευα ότι η διαφορά θα ήταν αισθητή.
Στα + των Sony WH-1000XM4 είναι η πολύ καλή εφαρμογή που έχει και μπορείς να παραμετροποιήσεις αρκετά πράγματα.
Πολύ εύχρηστο το γεγονός ότι με το που τα βγάλεις από τα αυτιά σου σταματάνε και ξεκινάνε με το που τα ξαναβάλεις.
Επίσης πολύ χρήσιμη η εφαρμογή speak to chat δηλαδή με το που ξεκινάς να μιλάς σταματάει η ακύρωση θορύβου και μεγεθύνονται οι ήχοι του περιβάλλοντος! Εντυπωσιακό !
Κάτι που γίνεται και όταν καλύψεις με το ένα χέρι την δεξιά μεριά του ακουστικού.
Πολύ καλή η δυνατότητα να συνδέονται με 2 συσκευές το δοκίμασα και όλα ήταν μία χαρά.
Από ήχο τώρα τα περίμενα ανώτερα των studio 3 δεν είναι, και το λέω μετά βεβαιότητας.
Αυτό δεν σημαίνει ότι δεν έχουν πολύ καλό ήχο και πολύ καλή ακύρωση θορύβου.

Μετά από ατελείωτες ώρες έρευνας στο ίντερνετ επανέρχομαι να καταθέσω τις εξής πολύ χρήσιμες πληροφορίες.
Αν έχεις iphone η ipad πας με κλειστά τα μάτια στα Sony WH-1000XM3 γιατί θα ρωτήσει κάποιος, επειδή τα iPhone - ipad δεν υποστηρίζουν το codec ldac που χρησιμοποιούν τα Sony WH-1000XM4
Τη είναι το Ldac ; Σας παραθέτω τη είναι κάνοντας copy paste από την ιστοσελίδα της sony.
Το LDAC είναι μια τεχνολογία κωδικοποίησης ήχου που έχει αναπτυχθεί από τη Sony η οποία επιτρέπει τη μετάδοση ηχητικού περιεχομένου Υψηλής ανάλυσης (Hi-Res), ακόμα και μέσω σύνδεσης BLUETOOTH. Προέτρεπε να κάνουμε την εξής δοκιμή να βάλουμε να ακούσουμε από το soundtrack lucy το κομμάτι
first cells σε iPhone και σε android τεράστια διαφορά δοκιμάστε το θα καταλάβετε , αν μπορείτε, όμως μόνο σε αυτό το κομμάτι που το χρησιμοποιούν audiophiles.
Πολύ ανώτερα και από τα beats studio 3 όταν συνδέονται σε συσκευές που υποστηρίζουν Ldac τα
Sony WH-1000XM4.
Επειδή είναι μία διόλου ευκαταφρόνητη αγορά γι'αυτό παραθέτω όλες αυτές τις πληροφορίες.
Ελπίζω να βοήθησα.
Two problems:
1) They do not automatically switch devices when I have two connected, even when I stop the sound from one device and play sound from the other. It's really like I don't have the ability to connect to two devices. The Xiaomi buds I bought two years ago for €60 didn't have this problem, so why do €200 headphones have it?
2) I don't know how they manage to have such good noise cancellation, but when you make a call, it doesn't work. Whose idea was this? My friend has OnePlus 3 Buds (€70), he talks with the headphones and nothing is heard, not even wind. Whereas many times I've had to take them off to talk in strong wind, and even in light wind it can be heard on the call, which is unacceptable for such expensive headphones. And yes, I've tried every mode available.
Also, it's a bit annoying because during a call my friend told me he could hear the surrounding voices even clearer than me.
Bonus:
The presets it has, and the regular EQ, are honestly the worst. I mean, everyone wants something different, and with a little effort I found something I like, but for it to be so bad out of the box made me look at them differently.
That's where the negatives end.
I won't focus too much on the positives because they are really as advertised. The ANC is the best I've seen, and the sound quality after you tweak the EQ from the app is quite nice. Finally, it never runs out of battery, so it's very good for traveling and walking.
For the reasons and the use I got it for, it's perfect, but it's not something I could recommend to others without reservations.
In conclusion,
If you really want the best ANC, and you don't mind turning off Bluetooth from one device every time you switch, or using the app, and you don't want them for calls, it's worth it.
Personally, I don't know if I would still buy it if I knew these things, although as I said, I'm not disappointed because for my use there's no problem for me. I just expected more for €211.
Δύο προβλήματα:
1) Δεν αλλάζουν αυτόματα συσκευή όταν έχω δύο συνδεδεμένες, ακόμα και όταν σταματάω τον ήχο από την μία συσκευή και παίζω ήχο από την άλλη. Είναι πραγματικά σαν να μην έχω την δυνατότητα να συνδεθώ με δύο συσκευές. Τα buds της xiaomi που είχα πάρει πριν δύο χρόνια με 60€ δεν είχαν αυτό το πρόβλημα, οπότε γιατί headphones 200€ το έχουν?
2) Δεν ξέρω πως καταφέρνουν να έχουν τόσο καλό noise cancelation, αλλά όταν παίρνεις τηλέφωνο να μην δουλεύει. Ποιανού ιδέα ήταν αυτή? Έχει ο φίλος μου OnePlus 3 Buds (70€), μιλάει με τα ακουστικά και δεν ακούγεται τίποτα και καθόλου αέρας. Ενώ εγώ πολλές φορές έχει χρειαστεί να τα βγάλω για να μιλήσω σε δυνατό αέρα, αλλά και σε λίγο αέρα ακούγεται στην κλήση, πράγμα απαράδεκτο για τόσο ακριβά ακουστικά. Και ναι, έχω δοκιμάσει κάθε mode που έχει.
Επίσης, είναι λίγο σπαστικό επειδή σε μια κλήση μου είχε πει ο φίλος μου πως άκουγε τις γύρω φωνές ίσα ίσα πιο καθαρά και από εμένα.
Bonus:
Τα presets που έχει, και το κανονικό EQ είναι πραγματικά ότι το χειρότερο. Εννοώ, ο καθένας θέλει κάτι διαφορετικό, και με λίγη προσπάθεια βρήκα κάτι που μου αρέσει, αλλά το να είναι τόσο άσχημα out of the box, με έκανε να τα κοιτάξω με άλλο μάτι.
Εκεί τελειώνουν τα αρνητικά.
Δεν θα συγκεντρωθώ τόσο πολύ στα θετικά επειδή είναι πραγματικά ότι λένε. Το ANC είναι το καλύτερο που έχω δει, και η ποιότητα ήχου αφού πειράξεις τα EQ από την εφαρμογή είναι αρκετά ωραία. Τέλος, δεν ξεμενει ποτέ από μπαταρία, οπότε είναι πολύ καλό για ταξίδια και περπάτημα.
Εγώ για τους λόγους και την χρήση που το πήρα, είναι τέλειο, αλλά δεν είναι κάτι που θα μπορούσα να προτείνω σε άλλους ανεπιφύλακτα.
Εν κατακλείδι,
Αν θέλεις πραγματικά το καλύτερο ANC, και δεν έχεις πρόβλημα να κλείνεις το Bluetooth από την μία συσκευή κάθε φορά που αλλάζεις, ή να χρησιμοποιήσεις την εφαρμογή, και δεν τα θέλεις για τηλέφωνα, αξίζει.
Προσωπικά δεν ξέρω αν θα το αγόραζα ακόμα αν ήξερα αυτά τα πράγματα, αν και όπως είπα, δεν είμαι απογοητευμένος γιατί για την χρήση που κάνω δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα για εμένα. Απλά περίμενα περισσότερα για 211€.

One of the best sound qualities I have ever heard in my life. The 1/5 stars are purely for the build quality, which looks very premium, but one fine morning, after using them perfectly for 2 years (and I would definitely give 5/5) on PS5, gym, and PC, while making the most normal move to take them off, they got caught in my hair and the plastic (yep, there is plastic that isn't visible) connecting the speaker to the rest of the body broke. At the rotation point, that is. It broke, resulting in a 50 euro replacement part, and 135 euros for a headband replacement, and of course, no warranty covers you if the product is broken. Also, I made the mistake of leaving it unrepaired for a while and the speaker on the damaged side broke. Something that obviously isn't the product's fault. So don't make the same mistake, if it breaks it needs urgent repair. I find it inconceivable that 400 euro headphones (that's how much they cost when I bought them) would have the plastic of the rotator break so easily. Really, it breaks for fun, no irony intended.
(Also, communication with Sony is a joke. You need a miracle to get anywhere.)
Nevertheless, if you are lucky or catch the damage in time, they are totally worth it.
Απο τις καλύτερες ποιότητες ήχου που έχω ακούσει στη ζωή μου. Τα 1/5 αστέρια πάνε καθαρά για την ποιότητα κατασκευής του η οποιά φένεται πολύ premium αλλά ένα καλό πρωινό, ενω 2 χρόνια τα χρησιμοποιούσα τέλεια (και θα έβαζα 5/5 εννοείτε) σε ps5, gym και pc, κάνοντας την πιο φυσιολογική κίνηση να τα αφαιρέσω, πιάστηκαν στα μαλλιά μου και έσπασε το πλαστικό (yeap υπάρχει πλαστικό που δεν φένεται) που συνδέει το speaker με το υπόλοιπο σώμα. Στο σημειο του rotation δηλάδή. Έσπασε με αποτέλεσμα να θέλει 50 ευρώ το ανταλακτικό, και 135 ευρώ για αλλαγή στέκας και εννοείτε δεν σε καλύπτει καμία εγγύηση αν υπάρχει σπασιμο προιόντος. Επίσης έκανα το λαθος να το αφήσω για λίγο καιρό χωρίς επισκευή και χάλασε το speaker απο την πλευρά που είχε πληγεί. Κάτι που δε φταίει το ίδιο το προιον προφανώς. Οπότε μην κάνετε το ίδιο λάθος, αν σπάσει θέλει επιγόντος επισκευή. Θεωρώ αδιανόητο πάντως για 400 ευρώ ακουστικά (τόσο έκαναν όταν τα πηρα εγώ) να σπάει το πλαστικό του rotator για πλάκα. Πραγματικά για πλάκα χωρίς ίχνος ειρωνίας.
(Επίσης η επικοινωνία με τη Sony για γέλια. Θες τάμα για να βγάλεις άκρη.)
Παρόλα αυτά αν είστε τυχεροί ή προλάβετε τη ζημιά αξίζει με τα χίλια.
I really like the noise isolation – finally I can't hear the cicadas. However, the connection is complicated and time-consuming. The battery doesn't last that long. The sound cuts off if I move just two meters away from the device, and it only fixes if I reconnect the headphones. For the Apple ecosystem, AirPods are ultimately the best: they connect instantly and switch automatically between devices.
Μου αρέσει πολύ η απομόνωση θορύβου – επιτέλους δεν ακούω τις τζιτζίκες. Η σύνδεση όμως είναι περίπλοκη και χρονοβόρα. Η μπαταρία δεν κρατάει και τόσο πολύ. Ο ήχος κόβεται αν απομακρυνθώ μόλις δύο μέτρα από τη συσκευή, και φτιάχνει μόνο αν ξανασυνδέσω τα ακουστικά. Για το οικοσύστημα της Apple, τελικά τα AirPods είναι τα καλύτερα: συνδέονται ακαριαία και αλλάζουν αυτόματα μεταξύ των συσκευών.
I replaced my old WF-1000XM3 with WH-1000XM4. It looks very similar, sits similar, sounds similar. I noticed a slight ANC improvement, sound quality could not see a difference though. However, XM4 sits more comfortable, since it has air pressure regulation inside ears, so compared to the old XM3, I can wear them for longer time without feeling a ear fatigue.
Overall I got what expected from a premium noice cancelling headphones from Sony. Highly recommend

They have many conveniences and are of good quality, but they ruin it in the most essential thing for me at least. For their price, not at all. - Although it is somewhat of an older product and the next one has already been released, it is hard to find them for less than ~220-230 euros.
It is a very good solution for a problem that very few have. You can get better sound for less money (wired), or the same features cheaper, in earbuds. For this reason, I can't call them VFM, unless you want all the available features on the market, in over-ear wireless headphones and don't want to compromise.

- δεν είναι τόσο ανετα για μεγάλα κεφαλια/αυτιά, τα εχω στη μεγαλύτερη ρύθμιση και σε 1-1.5 ώρα πρέπει να τα βγάλω για λίγο
- το πόσο θα αντέξει η μπαταριά στο χρόνο είναι άγνωστο, και μόλις χαλάσει πετιέται όπως είναι
- Παρόλο που είναι κάπως παλιο προϊόν και εχει ήδη βγει το επόμενο, δύσκολα θα τα βρεις κάτω από ~220-230 εύρω.
Είναι μια πολύ καλή λύση για ενα πρόβλημα που ελάχιστοι έχουν. μπορείς να εχεις καλύτερο ηχο για λιγότερα λεφτά (ενσύρματα), ή τα ιδια features φθηνότερα, σε ψείρες. the ultimate noise cancelling... amazing sound. I travel often on transatlantic flights and I forget that I am on a plane (those who travel frequently and on long trips will understand), you can't even hear the announcements, worth every last euro (purchase around 250€).

1 year after purchasing them, I have the following to state. If they broke tomorrow, I would buy them again 3 times to avoid running out. The price is not negligible, but when you use them for a few days, you justify your choice. Excellent noise cancelling even while listening to podcasts on the subway, sound quality is very, very good, and a nice large soundstage, bass is measured as it should be, we need to be done with bass that breaks eardrums. I haven't tried them with a cable, only Bluetooth with iPhone and PC. The battery is also very good, it lasts quite a while. It has various smart features, maybe I wanted more freedom in customizing the app for control gestures. In the summer, you sweat quite a bit wearing them, but it's reasonable for large closed-type headphones to happen.

I went to the store intending to buy the ult wear, which are about 60 euros cheaper. They had both the ult wear and the xm4 and xm5 for testing. I can say that it's worth trying them before buying because just the way the xm4 sit on my head, how much more comfortable and lightweight they are, they were worth the extra 60 euros. I also tried the sound and the ANC on all three, so that played a role too, because the xm4 were much better than the ult wear, which only had strong bass. The xm5 were marginally better in sound and ANC, but they didn't fit as well as the xm4 and I also don't like the new design of the 5, nor does it suit me that they don't fold like the 4 in the case, resulting in them being huge. The 100 euro difference wasn't worth it for something marginally better in sound and ANC, so I went with the xm4, which, even though they are a 4-year-old model, are worth their money and I prefer the design as well. Of course, try what suits you on your head, because that's the most important thing, especially if you wear them for many hours.

The best headphones I have ever bought! I have had them for about a year, and all I have to say is that they are incredible! Amazing sound, amazing noise canceling, just the right amount of bass, and they come in a case that is the perfect size, unlike the xm5s that don't "fold," so they are not as convenient. The only downside I could find is that due to their relative weight, they can become a bit tiring after a couple of hours, so taking a break for about a quarter of an hour is necessary. When I bought them, they were 400, and I didn't regret it, but now that they are around 230, I think they are a must-have for someone willing to spend that amount on headphones.

I have had the headphones in my hands for about 10 hours without stopping being curious about them since I got them.
Because I also own the Beats Studio 3 and because the Sony headphones have been released very recently, I believed that the difference would be noticeable.
The positives of the Sony WH-1000XM4 are the very good application it has, where you can customize several things.
Very user-friendly is the fact that as soon as you take them out of your ears, they stop and start again as soon as you put them back on.
Also very useful is the speak to chat feature, which means that as soon as you start talking, the noise cancellation stops and the sounds of the surroundings become louder! Impressive!
This also happens when you cover the right side of the headphone with your hand.
The ability to connect to 2 devices is also very good, I tried it and everything was fine.
In terms of sound, I expected them to be better than the Studio 3, and I say this with certainty.
This doesn't mean that they don't have very good sound and very good noise cancellation.
With that being said,
I give them 4 stars because they are not worth 400 euros.
AT ALL,
Luckily, I got them for 279 euros on Black Friday, otherwise I would really cry!!
I also believe that if someone doesn't have the extra money, it's better to go for the Sony WH-1000XM3

Τα ακουστικά τα έχω στα χέρια μου περίπου 10 ώρες χωρίς να έχω πάψει να τα περιεργαζομαι από τη στιγμή που τα πήρα.
Επειδή είμαι κάτοχος και των beats studio 3 και επειδή τα Sony εχουν κυκλοφορήσει πολύ πρόσφατα πίστευα ότι η διαφορά θα ήταν αισθητή.
Στα + των Sony WH-1000XM4 είναι η πολύ καλή εφαρμογή που έχει και μπορείς να παραμετροποιήσεις αρκετά πράγματα.
Πολύ εύχρηστο το γεγονός ότι με το που τα βγάλεις από τα αυτιά σου σταματάνε και ξεκινάνε με το που τα ξαναβάλεις.
Επίσης πολύ χρήσιμη η εφαρμογή speak to chat δηλαδή με το που ξεκινάς να μιλάς σταματάει η ακύρωση θορύβου και μεγεθύνονται οι ήχοι του περιβάλλοντος! Εντυπωσιακό !
Κάτι που γίνεται και όταν καλύψεις με το ένα χέρι την δεξιά μεριά του ακουστικού.
Πολύ καλή η δυνατότητα να συνδέονται με 2 συσκευές το δοκίμασα και όλα ήταν μία χαρά.
Από ήχο τώρα τα περίμενα ανώτερα των studio 3 δεν είναι, και το λέω μετά βεβαιότητας.
Αυτό δεν σημαίνει ότι δεν έχουν πολύ καλό ήχο και πολύ καλή ακύρωση θορύβου.

Μετά από ατελείωτες ώρες έρευνας στο ίντερνετ επανέρχομαι να καταθέσω τις εξής πολύ χρήσιμες πληροφορίες.
Αν έχεις iphone η ipad πας με κλειστά τα μάτια στα Sony WH-1000XM3 γιατί θα ρωτήσει κάποιος, επειδή τα iPhone - ipad δεν υποστηρίζουν το codec ldac που χρησιμοποιούν τα Sony WH-1000XM4
Τη είναι το Ldac ; Σας παραθέτω τη είναι κάνοντας copy paste από την ιστοσελίδα της sony.

Προέτρεπε να κάνουμε την εξής δοκιμή να βάλουμε να ακούσουμε από το soundtrack lucy το κομμάτι
first cells σε iPhone και σε android τεράστια διαφορά δοκιμάστε το θα καταλάβετε , αν μπορείτε, όμως μόνο σε αυτό το κομμάτι που το χρησιμοποιούν audiophiles.
Πολύ ανώτερα και από τα beats studio 3 όταν συνδέονται σε συσκευές που υποστηρίζουν Ldac τα
Sony WH-1000XM4.
Επειδή είναι μία διόλου ευκαταφρόνητη αγορά γι'αυτό παραθέτω όλες αυτές τις πληροφορίες.

Two problems:
1) They do not automatically switch devices when I have two connected, even when I stop the sound from one device and play sound from the other. It's really like I don't have the ability to connect to two devices. The Xiaomi buds I bought two years ago for €60 didn't have this problem, so why do €200 headphones have it?
2) I don't know how they manage to have such good noise cancellation, but when you make a call, it doesn't work. Whose idea was this? My friend has OnePlus 3 Buds (€70), he talks with the headphones and nothing is heard, not even wind. Whereas many times I've had to take them off to talk in strong wind, and even in light wind it can be heard on the call, which is unacceptable for such expensive headphones. And yes, I've tried every mode available.
Also, it's a bit annoying because during a call my friend told me he could hear the surrounding voices even clearer than me.
Bonus:
The presets it has, and the regular EQ, are honestly the worst. I mean, everyone wants something different, and with a little effort I found something I like, but for it to be so bad out of the box made me look at them differently.
That's where the negatives end.
I won't focus too much on the positives because they are really as advertised. The ANC is the best I've seen, and the sound quality after you tweak the EQ from the app is quite nice. Finally, it never runs out of battery, so it's very good for traveling and walking.
For the reasons and the use I got it for, it's perfect, but it's not something I could recommend to others without reservations.
In conclusion,
If you really want the best ANC, and you don't mind turning off Bluetooth from one device every time you switch, or using the app, and you don't want them for calls, it's worth it.
Personally, I don't know if I would still buy it if I knew these things, although as I said, I'm not disappointed because for my use there's no problem for me. I just expected more for €211.
Δύο προβλήματα:
1) Δεν αλλάζουν αυτόματα συσκευή όταν έχω δύο συνδεδεμένες, ακόμα και όταν σταματάω τον ήχο από την μία συσκευή και παίζω ήχο από την άλλη. Είναι πραγματικά σαν να μην έχω την δυνατότητα να συνδεθώ με δύο συσκευές. Τα buds της xiaomi που είχα πάρει πριν δύο χρόνια με 60€ δεν είχαν αυτό το πρόβλημα, οπότε γιατί headphones 200€ το έχουν?
2) Δεν ξέρω πως καταφέρνουν να έχουν τόσο καλό noise cancelation, αλλά όταν παίρνεις τηλέφωνο να μην δουλεύει. Ποιανού ιδέα ήταν αυτή? Έχει ο φίλος μου OnePlus 3 Buds (70€), μιλάει με τα ακουστικά και δεν ακούγεται τίποτα και καθόλου αέρας. Ενώ εγώ πολλές φορές έχει χρειαστεί να τα βγάλω για να μιλήσω σε δυνατό αέρα, αλλά και σε λίγο αέρα ακούγεται στην κλήση, πράγμα απαράδεκτο για τόσο ακριβά ακουστικά. Και ναι, έχω δοκιμάσει κάθε mode που έχει.
Επίσης, είναι λίγο σπαστικό επειδή σε μια κλήση μου είχε πει ο φίλος μου πως άκουγε τις γύρω φωνές ίσα ίσα πιο καθαρά και από εμένα.
Bonus:
Τα presets που έχει, και το κανονικό EQ είναι πραγματικά ότι το χειρότερο. Εννοώ, ο καθένας θέλει κάτι διαφορετικό, και με λίγη προσπάθεια βρήκα κάτι που μου αρέσει, αλλά το να είναι τόσο άσχημα out of the box, με έκανε να τα κοιτάξω με άλλο μάτι.
Εκεί τελειώνουν τα αρνητικά.
Δεν θα συγκεντρωθώ τόσο πολύ στα θετικά επειδή είναι πραγματικά ότι λένε. Το ANC είναι το καλύτερο που έχω δει, και η ποιότητα ήχου αφού πειράξεις τα EQ από την εφαρμογή είναι αρκετά ωραία. Τέλος, δεν ξεμενει ποτέ από μπαταρία, οπότε είναι πολύ καλό για ταξίδια και περπάτημα.
Εγώ για τους λόγους και την χρήση που το πήρα, είναι τέλειο, αλλά δεν είναι κάτι που θα μπορούσα να προτείνω σε άλλους ανεπιφύλακτα.

Προσωπικά δεν ξέρω αν θα το αγόραζα ακόμα αν ήξερα αυτά τα πράγματα, αν και όπως είπα, δεν είμαι απογοητευμένος γιατί για την χρήση που κάνω δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα για εμένα. Απλά περίμενα περισσότερα για 211€.

One of the best sound qualities I have ever heard in my life. The 1/5 stars are purely for the build quality, which looks very premium, but one fine morning, after using them perfectly for 2 years (and I would definitely give 5/5) on PS5, gym, and PC, while making the most normal move to take them off, they got caught in my hair and the plastic (yep, there is plastic that isn't visible) connecting the speaker to the rest of the body broke. At the rotation point, that is. It broke, resulting in a 50 euro replacement part, and 135 euros for a headband replacement, and of course, no warranty covers you if the product is broken. Also, I made the mistake of leaving it unrepaired for a while and the speaker on the damaged side broke. Something that obviously isn't the product's fault. So don't make the same mistake, if it breaks it needs urgent repair. I find it inconceivable that 400 euro headphones (that's how much they cost when I bought them) would have the plastic of the rotator break so easily. Really, it breaks for fun, no irony intended.
(Also, communication with Sony is a joke. You need a miracle to get anywhere.)
Nevertheless, if you are lucky or catch the damage in time, they are totally worth it.
Απο τις καλύτερες ποιότητες ήχου που έχω ακούσει στη ζωή μου. Τα 1/5 αστέρια πάνε καθαρά για την ποιότητα κατασκευής του η οποιά φένεται πολύ premium αλλά ένα καλό πρωινό, ενω 2 χρόνια τα χρησιμοποιούσα τέλεια (και θα έβαζα 5/5 εννοείτε) σε ps5, gym και pc, κάνοντας την πιο φυσιολογική κίνηση να τα αφαιρέσω, πιάστηκαν στα μαλλιά μου και έσπασε το πλαστικό (yeap υπάρχει πλαστικό που δεν φένεται) που συνδέει το speaker με το υπόλοιπο σώμα. Στο σημειο του rotation δηλάδή. Έσπασε με αποτέλεσμα να θέλει 50 ευρώ το ανταλακτικό, και 135 ευρώ για αλλαγή στέκας και εννοείτε δεν σε καλύπτει καμία εγγύηση αν υπάρχει σπασιμο προιόντος. Επίσης έκανα το λαθος να το αφήσω για λίγο καιρό χωρίς επισκευή και χάλασε το speaker απο την πλευρά που είχε πληγεί. Κάτι που δε φταίει το ίδιο το προιον προφανώς. Οπότε μην κάνετε το ίδιο λάθος, αν σπάσει θέλει επιγόντος επισκευή. Θεωρώ αδιανόητο πάντως για 400 ευρώ ακουστικά (τόσο έκαναν όταν τα πηρα εγώ) να σπάει το πλαστικό του rotator για πλάκα. Πραγματικά για πλάκα χωρίς ίχνος ειρωνίας.
(Επίσης η επικοινωνία με τη Sony για γέλια. Θες τάμα για να βγάλεις άκρη.)

I really like the noise isolation – finally I can't hear the cicadas. However, the connection is complicated and time-consuming. The battery doesn't last that long. The sound cuts off if I move just two meters away from the device, and it only fixes if I reconnect the headphones. For the Apple ecosystem, AirPods are ultimately the best: they connect instantly and switch automatically between devices.
Μου αρέσει πολύ η απομόνωση θορύβου – επιτέλους δεν ακούω τις τζιτζίκες. Η σύνδεση όμως είναι περίπλοκη και χρονοβόρα. Η μπαταρία δεν κρατάει και τόσο πολύ. Ο ήχος κόβεται αν απομακρυνθώ μόλις δύο μέτρα από τη συσκευή, και φτιάχνει μόνο αν ξανασυνδέσω τα ακουστικά. Για το οικοσύστημα της Apple, τελικά τα AirPods είναι τα καλύτερα: συνδέονται ακαριαία και αλλάζουν αυτόματα μεταξύ των συσκευών.
I replaced my old WF-1000XM3 with WH-1000XM4. It looks very similar, sits similar, sounds similar. I noticed a slight ANC improvement, sound quality could not see a difference though. However, XM4 sits more comfortable, since it has air pressure regulation inside ears, so compared to the old XM3, I can wear them for longer time without feeling a ear fatigue.
Overall I got what expected from a premium noice cancelling headphones from Sony. Highly recommend

They have many conveniences and are of good quality, but they ruin it in the most essential thing for me at least. For their price, not at all. Έχοντας ακούσει και άλλα ακουστικά, έχω να πω πως ηχητικά είναι πολύ μέτρια. Έχουν πολλές διευκολύνσεις είναι και ποιοτικά, αλλά τα χαλάνε στο πιο ουσιώδες πράγμα για εμένα τουλάχιστον. Για την τιμή τους με τίποτα. Αν έχετε τη δυνατότητα ακούστε ένα Edifier με τα μισά λεφτά και θα με θυμηθείτε.

- Strong noise canceling
- Balanced sound, may lack a bit in bass for some tastes
- Battery life (with the appropriate settings)
- The features it offers, especially in combination with the app (play/pause from motion, connection to multiple devices, Adaptive Sound Control, etc.)
- The fact that the app is not necessary to connect and you retain 90% of the features without it is a big plus for me.
- Comfortable ear pads and headband
- The case is very good
- Blue is the best color
Cons:
- The touch controls on the side are sensitive, and 1 in 3 times it will do something different from what you wanted
- They are not so comfortable for large heads/ears, I have them on the largest setting and after 1-1.5 hours I need to take them off for a bit
- How long the battery will last over time is unknown, and once it fails it gets thrown away as is
- Although it is somewhat of an older product and the next one has already been released, it is hard to find them for less than ~220-230 euros.
It is a very good solution for a problem that very few have. You can get better sound for less money (wired), or the same features cheaper, in earbuds. For this reason, I can't call them VFM, unless you want all the available features on the market, in over-ear wireless headphones and don't want to compromise.

Αψογο noise cancelling ακομη και ακουγοντας podcast στο μετρο, ποιοτητα ηχου παααρα πολυ καλη, και ωραιο μεγαλο soundstage, μπασο μετρημενο οπως και θα επρεπε, πρεπει να τελειωνουμε με τα μπασα που σπανε τυμπανα. δεν τα χω δοκιμασει με καλωδιο μονο bluetooth se Iphone κ pc. Η μπαταρια του επισης πολυ καλη κραταει αρκετα. εχει διαφορες εξυπνες λειτουργιες, ισως ηθελα περισσοτερη ελευθερια στο customization του app για τα control gestures.
το καλοκαιρι ιδρωνεις αρκετα φορωντας τα, αλλα ειναι λογικο με μεγαλα κλειστου τυπου ακουστικα να συμβει.
Υ.Γ. Ασχετως των συγκεκριμενων ακουστικων, γενικοτερα δεν προτεινεται να εχεις πολυ ωρα κλειστου τυπου ακουστικα σε υψηλες θερμοκρασιες, μπορει να αναπτυχθουν μικροβια και να ταλαιπωρεισαι με ωττιτιδες καλοκαιριατικα.

I went to the store intending to buy the ult wear, which are about 60 euros cheaper. They had both the ult wear and the xm4 and xm5 for testing. I can say that it's worth trying them before buying because just the way the xm4 sit on my head, how much more comfortable and lightweight they are, they were worth the extra 60 euros. I also tried the sound and the ANC on all three, so that played a role too, because the xm4 were much better than the ult wear, which only had strong bass. The xm5 were marginally better in sound and ANC, but they didn't fit as well as the xm4 and I also don't like the new design of the 5, nor does it suit me that they don't fold like the 4 in the case, resulting in them being huge. The 100 euro difference wasn't worth it for something marginally better in sound and ANC, so I went with the xm4, which, even though they are a 4-year-old model, are worth their money and I prefer the design as well. Of course, try what suits you on your head, because that's the most important thing, especially if you wear them for many hours.

Δοκίμασα και τον ήχο και το anc και στα 3, οπότε έπαιξε κι αυτό το ρόλο του, γιατί τα xm4 ήταν πολύ ανώτερα από τα ult wear που είχαν μόνο έντονο μπάσο. Τα xm5 ήταν οριακά καλύτερα σε ήχο και anc, αλλά δε μου κάθονταν τόσο καλά όσο τα xm4 και επίσης το καινούριο design των 5 δε μου αρέσει, ούτε με βολεύει που δε διπλώνουν όπως τα 4 στη θήκη με αποτέλεσμα να είναι τεράστια. Δεν άξιζε η διαφορά των 100 ευρώ ακόμα για κάτι οριακά καλύτερο σε ήχο και anc, οπότε πήγα στα xm4, που παρόλο που είναι 4 χρονών μοντέλο αξίζουν τα λεφτά τους και προτιμώ και το design. Εννοείται δοκιμάστε τι σας βολεύει στο κεφάλι, γιατί είναι το βασικότερο ειδικά αν τα φοράτε πολλές ώρες.

The best headphones I have ever bought! I have had them for about a year, and all I have to say is that they are incredible! Amazing sound, amazing noise canceling, just the right amount of bass, and they come in a case that is the perfect size, unlike the xm5s that don't "fold," so they are not as convenient. The only downside I could find is that due to their relative weight, they can become a bit tiring after a couple of hours, so taking a break for about a quarter of an hour is necessary. When I bought them, they were 400, and I didn't regret it, but now that they are around 230, I think they are a must-have for someone willing to spend that amount on headphones.
