In this book, the intention is to present a panoramic view of key positions in Islam regarding the state and its nature, the relationship between religion and the state, and the solution of social problems based on Islamic law.

With a scientific approach and understandable language, information related to the organization of the state, the economy, law, social organizations, women, heretical and religious groups, official organizations, military organizations, and the Islam of the diaspora is provided.

An appendix presents the history of the relationship between Islam and Orthodoxy, particularly the way and the texts that were written since the time of the encounter between Islam and the Orthodox world.

It is particularly important for the reader to be informed not only about the teachings of Islam but also about how these teachings were practically applied by Islamic societies.

This allows for an understanding of the type of Muslim that one encounters daily and the behaviors observed from the Muslim world in the East and West.
