    Most polyester ankle straps are also used as wrist straps (lateral extensions of the shoulder, triceps extensions) which is why I bought them. They do their job but the application is slightly time-consuming because they were not designed for this use.

    One significant disadvantage I noticed over time is that they cause pain in the wrists when using larger loads to the point where I have to use pressure wrist wraps as protection.
