How to Change the Strap
Step 1
Step 2
Remove the bar holding the strap with the help of the above tool. Use it to push the spring bar through the hole from the side of the protrusion. This way, the spring bar will loosen from the hole and can easily be detached from the other protrusion.
Step 3
Remove the strap, and pull out the bar that held it to the watch. The same bar will be used for attaching the new strap.
Step 4
To attach the NATO strap, reposition the pin into the case. Insert one end of the spring bar into the hole and push the other end towards the opposite lug.
Step 5
Prepare the new strap by separating the two parts. Pull the longer strap over the metal loop.
Step 6
Place the watch case onto the new strap. Start from the top of the case and pass the long part of the strap through the front of the watch to the back, through the opening between the case and the lug. Pull the strap and pass it from back to front, through the opening at the bottom of the case. Push the case into the middle of the strap.
Step 7
Slide the strap through the metal loop. Pass the long part of the strap through the metal loop at the end of the shorter part of the strap.
