Amazing blade!!!! Attention, it cuts with the speed of thought... Very good safety on the knife, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have safety on the saw as well... This specific company produces diamonds... its knife cuts fresh croissants like a laser... It requires caution

I have several Swiss Victorinox multitools, and the Trailmaster is one of the very good large models. All products from this company have only positive aspects, as they are incredibly practical and cleverly designed with top quality.

    In the Trailmaster, we have:
-> It is exactly the same as the Victorinox Soldiers, which is intended for the army as a genuine Swiss army knife. The only difference is the scales, which are the plastic covers, and the fact that it has a saw and tweezers, which the Soldiers model does not have. In Germany and the United States, it is the same but with the corresponding logo on it, intended for soldiers as an EDC folding knife.
-> It is extremely practical and should be used in the countryside, for technical work, camping, outdoor activities, etc.
-> It has a fairly large blade, where one-third is a straight knife and two-thirds are serrated, very sharp as a whole like a razor (20-degree perfectly sharpened edge for general cutting, but also for tough cuts such as ropes, thick cables, etc.). It has endless applications.
-> It has a high-quality wood saw that easily cuts wood and branches of the same size.
-> It has a bottle opener that can also be used as a straight screwdriver and wire stripper, and it locks when fully opened, making it work more securely.
-> It also has a can opener at the tip, which also has a small straight screwdriver.
-> It has a very sharp awl, although it could have a hole like medium-sized pocket knives such as the Huntsman, to sew something temporarily with fibers from a rope, but okay.
-> Next to the awl, it also has a quality short Phillips screwdriver, instead of a corkscrew, which the Forester model has instead of a screwdriver. But if you want a corkscrew, get the Forester; in all other aspects, they are the same.
-> It has stainless steel tweezers and a toothpick (better not to use it in the mouth) for other uses.
-> The blade of the knife opens with one hand and locks very well when opened, thus protecting against accidental closure and preventing cuts. It is very sturdy and high-quality in hand, easy to use, practical, and I believe it has the basic but necessary features that a soldier needs (not allowed in Greece), someone who is camping, or someone who wants a large multitool with a serrated blade for outdoor activities, work, etc.
-> Although Greek legislation prohibits weapons and anything that can be considered a weapon, for example, carrying a knife is prohibited in the city or on a bus, it may be allowed in camping or in the countryside. In many countries, it is recommended to have it with you when you are somewhere where it could be used as a tool to justify the reason for having it on you during a police check.
Compact and high-quality construction that all Victorinox pocket knives have and use the X55CrMo14 stainless steel, which is stainless and has a hardness of 56-58, something that suits high-quality multitools with a lifetime guarantee. For intensive and tough use, you will wear it out quickly and it will require sharpening afterwards (which is easily done on this steel without much effort compared to other steels), but because 2/3 of the blade is serrated, sharpening will be difficult, but knives with serrated edges have better durability in use, so it will take longer to reach that condition.

I am very satisfied with my purchase because even though it may seem like it has a high price (I bought it for 50€), it is worth what you pay for. The company has created the most perfect and well-crafted multitools worldwide. It is better to pay for something that you will have forever and will last, rather than Chinese imitations that cost 6€ and are of poor quality (loose joints, don't cut well, rust, etc. within the first week of use).
