Language is a human privilege. It is unimaginable outside of humans. It accompanies us throughout our entire evolutionary journey, developing alongside us. It expresses us in every manifestation. It is perhaps the most vibrant organism as a carrier and "portable," as a transmitter and receiver, an expression and reflection of human dynamism, the most sensitive seismograph of all our activities. Language is the human being and his story, each of us and the world that surrounds us. It is our essential image to the outside world. All other expressions are elements of the rest of the animal kingdom. It is commonplace to say that language and thought go hand in hand, an inseparable and mutually reinforcing pair, that they reflect and influence each other. It is, after all, evident when we observe the development of a person, the historical course of a nation, and when we compare different ones.
