The third volume of the Synopsis abridges volumes IΕ'-Κ' of the Dictionary of Medieval Greek Vernacular Literature (1100-1669) (paraphrase - stop). These volumes are composed by a team of collaborators under the direction of I. N. Kazazis and the supervision of the Center for the Greek Language. One by one, they were joyfully leafed through and read by Emmanouil Kriaras. In the present volume of the Synopsis, the same principles of abridgment applied in the previous two volumes are followed, both at the macrostructure and microstructure levels. Since the detailed volumes are relatively recent and updated according to the latest editions of medieval texts and the literature, only minimal corrections were required for the already compiled entries.
