This book presents thoughts on the relationship between storytellers and storytelling in Greek fairy tales.
The starting point is the fairy tales recorded by a storyteller from Samos, which are published, classified according to the Aarne-Thompson system, and commented upon.
The conclusions, including a summary of the relevant literature to date, are presented as a preface, in which the position of the storyteller and the story-teller in Greek tradition and the technique they follow in narrating the fairy tales, as it emerges from the specific fairy tales, is analyzed.
