Είναι router και όχι modem. Πρέπει να συνδεθεί πάνω σε αυτό του παρόχου ώστε να πάρει πρόσβαση. Όμως πέραν από αυτό έχει τις δικές του ρυθμίσεις και φτιάχνει το δικό του δίκτυο είτε 2.4Ghz είτε 5 Ghz με όλες τις δυνατές ρυθμίσεις. Δουλεύει όμως και σαν reapeater, access point, extender. Δεν έχει πολύ δυνατό σήμα όμως.
