    As a professional locksmith, I have violated/broken many of these door locks, they are not something super quality! One of the main reasons they break is that the material is not installed correctly, resulting in the latch not releasing when the door closes.

    Doors can be opened without damaging the frame or the door! Just call a professional! Breaking a door lock costs less than repairing the wooden one!

    I experienced exactly what is mentioned in another review, after 6 years of use, the tongue broke and we got trapped. To open it, we had to damage the door and the frame. Two stars and that's being generous.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the way the door opens and closes using the mechanism it uses for the handle. All the locks are noisy, and when you want to open a door quietly at night, it's not ideal. Also, in one of the three locks, the handle reset sticks a little, and all of this happened within a period of 3 months from its installation. Unacceptable for Domus, which I considered to be a quality company.

    ATTENTION, the distance from screw to screw is 21 cm, which is not indicated in the dimensions! Personally, it didn't work for me as the old one had a distance of 19.5 cm (see picture) and I would have to dig into the door, a small job but I prefer not to do it. All the other dimensions (as indicated) were the same. Other than that, I gave it 5 stars just because it looks good, but I haven't used it

The middle part didn't get stuck or move, suddenly the knob started turning 360 degrees without any force, and of course, I ended up damaging the door in order to open it.
