An interesting study by Professor Nik. Pantazopoulos on language as a mechanism of transfer, an instrument for the conveyance of ideas and realities from century to century within historical development.

The language is examined in terms of its role in the demanding field of law, analyzing the "linguistic unification" of legal principles, so that it can be imposed on broader geographical and political entities.

In a second part, the author’s views on the issue of linguistic host in the Ionian in the 19th century are recorded, and the role of language in the nation-building process of the established Ionian society under conditions of colonial conquest is presented.
