I had bought it to connect my Samsung tablet to an external monitor in order to use it in Dex mode environment (which turns your tablet into a computer with a keyboard and mouse), it worked fine and displayed an image for about 10 minutes (without using the other ports it has) and then literally died... Not even an hour... And not only that, but the other ports were not working either, I don't know exactly what happened and why, but considering the other reviews, I probably got a defective batch...
I returned it and got a more expensive one (Cablexpert A-CM-COMBO2-01) and so far it hasn't shown me any problems (I've had it for 1 week).

For my MacBook Air 2019, it creates a problem. It blocks the computer either through HDMI or through USB-C if you connect it to charge. Under no circumstances should you get it!! You will damage your computer

It does what the equivalent Apple adapter would do, but at a much lower cost. I use it on my iPad and have connected a USB mouse, flash drives, and even connected it to the TV via HDMI, and it supports simultaneous charging. If someone has a USB extension (USB hub), they can also connect it and have additional USB inputs. Overall, it does its job, and I am very satisfied!

I have been using it for six months on my work Chromebook Acer computer (40 hours per week). I connect a monitor, charging, and a mouse, and it works perfectly on a daily basis.
