DDR4

DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and greater capacity than its predecessor.

Specifically, DDR4 offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, response time (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 16GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger the size we choose and is supported by the motherboard, the better, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size in relation to the speed (MT/s).

The TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB provides speed at 3200MT/s, with CL16 and 8GB per memory module.

Compatibility

The DDR4 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Specifically, DDR4 is compatible with Intel Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake series processors, as well as the latest Intel processors, and AMD Ryzen and Threadripper series processors.

However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you must ensure that your motherboard supports DDR4 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.

XMP & EXPO
