The usb-c cable of it you must be careful to connect, not just to put it in. Very fast, safe, quiet, sturdy, and .....small. When I bought it I thought it would be the size of an internal ssd, imagine my surprise when opening the package. It's not a problem for 'me, though.

The cable in the package is short and inflexible. If you don't have much space and the port on the PC is close to the table (I have a desktop not a laptop), it is very difficult to connect.

It doesn't make sense to send back the cable (warranty, no warranty). The design is automatic. It will be a waste of time. If you have an issue with the cable, just get a good data cable, because the disk is bulletproof.

The hard drive is very good, I recommend it. It seemed a bit expensive to me since I got the 1TB one, but it is fast in transferring data, durable (it already accidentally fell from a height of two meters) and beautiful if you are interested (I have the red color). I highly recommend it.

Guys, I have had it for 2 years, it hasn't had any issues, IT DOES NOT DISCONNECT, and it is much faster than regular SSDs. Obviously, if it disconnects for someone, it is defective and should be replaced immediately! The reason it is top-notch and inspires reliability is exactly that, IT DOES NOT DISCONNECT. It has not disconnected even once in the 2 years for me! So now that its price has dropped by 40% since I bought it, it is by far the best choice among all drives in this speed category. Buy it YESTERDAY!

The comparison I am making is with the Sandisk Portable Extreme SSD, as I bought it first and the Samsung later.
+ Fast, small, lightweight, reliable (so far)
- Larger than the Sandisk, metallic and slips a little in the hand (if you're careless like me). The Sandisk has a "rubber" coating that makes it have "grip" in the hand and is durable if dropped. The Samsung... I'll probably be picking up its pieces.
Conclusion: I'm thinking if I had to spend €50-€80 more (although I didn't have them at the time) to get the Sandisk. I don't regret the purchase, I just have to be super careful in handling it.

I've only had it for a day so I can't speak to its durability.
However, when I transferred 110GB of files that I usually keep on an external drive, it did it in 7-10 minutes whereas with other external SSDs I've had, it would take 30 minutes to an hour.
As a programmer, the files mainly consist of dependencies (node_modules) in projects that, as anyone knows, take a long time to copy-paste. This drive handled it like it was nothing, just breezed through it.
When I have a better idea of its durability, I may update my review. If not, assume it's very durable.

Purchased from abroad. It is perhaps the best laptop peripheral. It doesn't heat up at all. Its speed is noticeable compared to other disks.. it goes up to about 800, not more, but it's fast nonetheless. It is very small and thin, the size of a credit card. I want to test its speed in file transfer because I didn't see crazy speeds (it definitely matters if they are small or large files) for expanding a small hard drive on a MacBook, which is a one-way street.
On a MacBook with Intel, it reaches 800 on new ones with the M1, with difficulty 500 even with Type C.

For quite some time now, I have noticed that on the Mac mini M1, for some reason, the disk, although its connection is with Type C, cannot reach even a third of its speed. The result is disappointing. On older MacBooks with Intel processors, it works just fine. I don't know if it's a port issue or an operating system issue (Big Sur).

I am lowering the rating because according to an article I read these days, it seems that when you have more than 60GB on the disk, its speed drops significantly. The T5 has much better management.

Εδώ και αρκετό καιρό έχω παρατηρήσει ότι στο macmini m1 για κάποιο λόγο ο δίσκος παρόλο που η σύνδεση του είναι με type c δεν μπορεί να πιάσει ουτε το 1/3 της ταχύτητας του. Απογοητευτικό το αποτέλεσμα. Σε παλαιότερα macbook με επεξεργαστή intel πάει μια χαρά . Δεν ξέρω αν είναι θέμα θύρας η θέμα λειτουργικού ( Big Sur)

Κατεβάζω την βαθμολογία γιατι σύμφωνα με ένα άρθρο που διάβασα αυτές τις μέρες , φαίνεται ότι όταν έχεις πάνω από 60gb μέσα στον δίσκο η ταχύτητα του πέφτει κατά πολύ. Ο T5. έχει πολύ καλύτερη διαχείριση

The SSD is simply amazing!! I have the MacBook Air M1 chip and with the USB-C to USB-C cable that comes in the package, I reach speeds of 700mb/s write and 800 to 900 mb/s read!! Okay, obviously it doesn't have the prices it claims above, meaning 1000 write, 1100 read, but still it's incredibly fast! Anyone who does video rendering entirely from the SSD will obviously see something more expensive and better, but for image editing and everyday use, it's the best thing out there! The T7 doesn't heat up at all even after hours on the laptop! In other news, it only has a small light that flashes when transferring files! And for those wondering, it also comes with a USB 3.2 to USB-C cable in the package, so don't worry about having to buy another cable! Get it!!

I am generally satisfied. Its performance and portability make it an excellent choice. However, the cable stopped working in less than 1 year of careful use. So, one star goes for the cable and another one for its price.

It doesn't make sense to send back the cable (warranty, no warranty). The design is automatic. It will be a waste of time. If you have an issue with the cable, just get a good data cable, because the disk is bulletproof.

The hard drive is very good, I recommend it. It seemed a bit expensive to me since I got the 1TB one, but it is fast in transferring data, durable (it already accidentally fell from a height of two meters) and beautiful if you are interested (I have the red color). I highly recommend it.

Guys, I have had it for 2 years, it hasn't had any issues, IT DOES NOT DISCONNECT, and it is much faster than regular SSDs. Obviously, if it disconnects for someone, it is defective and should be replaced immediately! The reason it is top-notch and inspires reliability is exactly that, IT DOES NOT DISCONNECT. It has not disconnected even once in the 2 years for me! So now that its price has dropped by 40% since I bought it, it is by far the best choice among all drives in this speed category. Buy it YESTERDAY!

Initially, the package includes two cables - usb to type c and type c to type c. Its construction is extremely sturdy, premium, and incredibly compact. The comparison I am making is with the Sandisk Portable Extreme SSD, as I bought it first and the Samsung later.
+ Fast, small, lightweight, reliable (so far)
- Larger than the Sandisk, metallic and slips a little in the hand (if you're careless like me). The Sandisk has a "rubber" coating that makes it have "grip" in the hand and is durable if dropped. The Samsung... I'll probably be picking up its pieces.
Conclusion: I'm thinking if I had to spend €50-€80 more (although I didn't have them at the time) to get the Sandisk. I don't regret the purchase, I just have to be super careful in handling it.

I've only had it for a day so I can't speak to its durability.
However, when I transferred 110GB of files that I usually keep on an external drive, it did it in 7-10 minutes whereas with other external SSDs I've had, it would take 30 minutes to an hour.
As a programmer, the files mainly consist of dependencies (node_modules) in projects that, as anyone knows, take a long time to copy-paste. This drive handled it like it was nothing, just breezed through it.
When I have a better idea of its durability, I may update my review. If not, assume it's very durable.

Purchased from abroad. It is perhaps the best laptop peripheral. It doesn't heat up at all. Its speed is noticeable compared to other disks.. it goes up to about 800, not more, but it's fast nonetheless. It is very small and thin, the size of a credit card. I want to test its speed in file transfer because I didn't see crazy speeds (it definitely matters if they are small or large files) for expanding a small hard drive on a MacBook, which is a one-way street.
On a MacBook with Intel, it reaches 800 on new ones with the M1, with difficulty 500 even with Type C.

For quite some time now, I have noticed that on the Mac mini M1, for some reason, the disk, although its connection is with Type C, cannot reach even a third of its speed. The result is disappointing. On older MacBooks with Intel processors, it works just fine. I don't know if it's a port issue or an operating system issue (Big Sur).

I am lowering the rating because according to an article I read these days, it seems that when you have more than 60GB on the disk, its speed drops significantly. The T5 has much better management.

Αγοράστηκε από εξωτερικό. Είναι ίσως το καλύτερο περιφερειακό για λάπτοπ . Δεν ζεσταίνεται καθόλου. Εδώ και αρκετό καιρό έχω παρατηρήσει ότι στο macmini m1 για κάποιο λόγο ο δίσκος παρόλο που η σύνδεση του είναι με type c δεν μπορεί να πιάσει ουτε το 1/3 της ταχύτητας του. Απογοητευτικό το αποτέλεσμα. Σε παλαιότερα macbook με επεξεργαστή intel πάει μια χαρά . Δεν ξέρω αν είναι θέμα θύρας η θέμα λειτουργικού ( Big Sur)

Κατεβάζω την βαθμολογία γιατι σύμφωνα με ένα άρθρο που διάβασα αυτές τις μέρες , φαίνεται ότι όταν έχεις πάνω από 60gb μέσα στον δίσκο η ταχύτητα του πέφτει κατά πολύ. Ο T5. έχει πολύ καλύτερη διαχείριση

The SSD is simply amazing!! I have the MacBook Air M1 chip and with the USB-C to USB-C cable that comes in the package, I reach speeds of 700mb/s write and 800 to 900 mb/s read!! Okay, obviously it doesn't have the prices it claims above, meaning 1000 write, 1100 read, but still it's incredibly fast! Anyone who does video rendering entirely from the SSD will obviously see something more expensive and better, but for image editing and everyday use, it's the best thing out there! The T7 doesn't heat up at all even after hours on the laptop! In other news, it only has a small light that flashes when transferring files! And for those wondering, it also comes with a USB 3.2 to USB-C cable in the package, so don't worry about having to buy another cable! Get it!!

I am generally satisfied. Its performance and portability make it an excellent choice. However, the cable stopped working in less than 1 year of careful use. So, one star goes for the cable and another one for its price.

The cable in the package is short and inflexible. If you don't have much space and the port on the PC is close to the table (I have a desktop not a laptop), it is very difficult to connect.

Δεν έχει νόημα να στείλετε πίσω το καλώδιο (εγγύηση, ξε-εγγύηση). Είναι ελατοματικό το design. Θα είναι τσάμπα η ταλαιπωρία. Αν έχετε θέμα λόγω καλωδίου, απλά πάρτε ένα καλό data καλώδιο, γιατί είναι σφαίρα ο δίσκος.
