As a lover of the timeless women's fragrance "Classique" by Gautier, I tried the "Scandal" in a small size because I didn't know if I would like its notes, and I did the right thing.
First of all, it is a complex fragrance: at the beginning, the scent starts dynamically with intense citrus and floral notes on the skin (it contains orange, grapefruit, jasmine, gardenia), which I liked.
However, as time passes, it leaves an overly sweetness to the point that it overwhelms and suffocates me in general.
This may be due to the caramel and beeswax as base notes combined with honey as a middle note.
Unfortunately, while it started as an interesting sweet fragrance, it lost it in the proportions of the perfumers who created it.
In contrast to "Classique," which is sweet-powdery without overwhelming you!
On the positive side: 1) Its longevity and projection, and 2) Its exceptional packaging from an aesthetic point of view.
If you like overly sweet fragrances, prefer it, and definitely do not wear it for spring-summer!
Ως λάτρης του διαχρονικού γυναικείου αρώματος "Classique" του Gautier, δοκίμασα σε μικρό μέγεθος την "Scandal",γιατί δεν ήξερα αν θα μου αρέσουν οι νότες του και πολύ καλά έκανα.
Καταρχήν είναι ένα σύνθετο άρωμα: στην αρχή το άρωμα ξεκινά δυναμικά με έντονες νότες εσπεριδοειδών και λουλουδιών πάνω στο δερμα (άλλωστε περιέχει πορτοκάλι,γκρειπφρουτ, γιασεμί, γαρδένια) ,πράγμα που μου άρεσε.
Όμως όσο περνάει η ώρα αφήνει μία υπερβολικά γλυκύτητα σε βαθμό που με λιγωνει και με μπουκωνει γενικότερα.
Πιθανόν να οφείλεται στην καραμέλα και το μελισσοκέρι ως νότες βάσης σε συνδυασμό με το μέλι ως μεσαία νότα.
Δυστυχώς ενώ ξεκίνησε ως ενδιαφέρον γλυκό άρωμα,το έχασε στις αναλογίες των αρωματοποιων που το δημιούργησαν.
Εν αντιθέσει με το "Classique" που είναι μεν γλυκό-πουδρενιο, χωρίς να σε μπουχτιζει!
Στα θετικά του: 1) Η διάρκεια και η προβολή του και 2) Η εξαιρετική συσκευασία του από αισθητικής άποψη.
Αν σαν αρέσουν τα υπερβολικά μελενια αρώματα προτιμήστε το, και σίγουρα μην το φορέσετε για άνοιξη-καλοκαιρι!
