Description & Specifications

Berling Quartz acrylic primer with quartz sand prepares smooth or slightly absorbent surfaces before plastering, applying textured coatings and skim coating. It is ready to use and suitable for interior and exterior applications, leaving a rough surface with uniform absorbency to promote adhesion of the next layer.

It can be used on exposed concrete, plasterboard, old plaster and previously painted walls, as well as before applying acrylic-siloxane renders, Graffiato-type coatings and external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). Apply undiluted in a single coat using a roller or brush. The topcoat can be applied after 24 hours, and the surface must be protected from rain for at least 48 hours.
