    It works for over eight hours continuously on the small ladder, in the office, and the motor doesn't heat up at all. But Force Silence? Not at all. I have a desk fan that produces 38 dB in sleep mode, and the Cecotec makes as much noise as that in Turbo mode. Of course, the other one works for one hour and heats up, then it also makes noise from the motor, while the Cecotec is silent. The base made some noise even when I had the oscillation on, I tried to tighten it and the ring broke. It still works, but I don't want to mess with it too much.

    Next time, I will buy one that states the dB on the Skroutz listing, and if it is even slightly noisier, I will send it back until I find a quiet one that works for many hours.
