Description

THEIR LUCK IS READY TO ROLL OVER THE UNDERGROUND...

Kat and her brother, Daniel, are very lucky kids. They just moved into a new house, with many rooms, two balconies, and a yard as big as a football field.

But all this luck is starting to evaporate. Because something very bad lives inside their new house. Something that moves. Watches. Waits. Something that came out of the kitchen sink…

Kids, beware — great turmoil awaits you!

The Setting

Katrin and her family move to a new house. Everything seems perfect until Katrin discovers something under the kitchen sink. It’s not a mouse. It’s not dust. It’s something... alive.

  • The "Thing": A strange, spongy mass that looks like an old potato or a huge sponge.

  • The Discovery: It has eyes. It breathes. And the worst part? It is evil.

The Curse of the "Sponge"

This creature does not attack with teeth, but with bad luck. From the moment it enters Katrin's life, everything goes wrong:

  1. Accidents: Minor injuries and "bad coincidences" happen constantly.

  2. Inexhaustible Energy: The more misery it causes, the more it "feeds" and grows.

  3. The Dead End: No matter how hard you try to throw it in the trash, it always finds a way to return under your sink.

Why is this book a "must"?

  • Original Horror: Stine takes a completely innocent object (a sponge) and turns it into a source of absolute anxiety.

  • Psychological Pressure: The feeling that "something" is watching you from the detergent cabinet is a classic recipe for nightmares.

  • The Lesson: Some things are better left where you found them.
