The Bessey D146-200 sheet metal shears make straight cuts in thin sheets of mild steel, aluminium, copper and other non-ferrous metals up to 1.2 mm thick. The blade geometry provides a clear view of the cutting line and control over the cutting path, while the 200 mm cutting length allows long, straight cuts with minimal distortion of the sheet metal.

They are made from tool-grade steel and feature heat-treated, interchangeable handles. The blades have pointed tips for penetrating the material. To maintain the shears, clean the blades regularly and lubricate the pivot; keep the blades sharp. They are not designed for cutting barbed wire, iron or heated materials.
