Plasti dip is a liquid rubber in spray form as well as in liquid form. Its uses are countless. It seals, insulates, adds color, and protects cars and motorcycles. It is non-slip and enhances surfaces, serves as an insulating material for wires and pipes. It protects against corrosion, offers a dielectric coating, and has many other applications.
Application tips:
- When the temperature is low, Plasti dip may not spray evenly. It is recommended to place the spray in warm water for 5-10 minutes before use.
- Before painting, ensure that the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of moisture.
- Drying time may be longer at low temperatures.
- The ratio of thick Plasti dip to thinners for spraying with a gun is 1:1.
- At least 6 good “coats” should be applied for large surfaces.
- Avoid contact with gasoline as it may fade the Plasti dip.
High Gloss Top Coat: Apply 3 good “coats” for the ideal result.
