Plasti dip is a liquid rubber in spray form as well as in liquid form. Its uses are countless. It seals, insulates, colors, and protects cars and motorcycles. It is non-slip and enhances surfaces, acts as an insulator for wires and pipes. It protects against corrosion, provides dielectric coating, and has many other applications.
Application Tips:
- When temperatures are low, it is preferable to place the spray in warm water for 5-10 minutes before application.
- Before painting, it is advisable not to have previously used any ointment or wax, as they can affect the proper application of Plasti dip.
- One year after the factory paint, you can apply Plasti dip.
- Keep the nozzle in a vertical position during application and at a distance of 10-15 cm from the surface.
- Clean the surface well before painting and ensure there is no moisture.
- Do not wash the car with active foam, but only with plain soap water.
- Be cautious with gasoline, as contact with Plasti dip may fade it.
For the application of the special wax Dip Protect, it is recommended approximately every month and a half.
The application requires at least 6 good “coats” for large surfaces, ensuring easy removal when desired.
