Plasti dip is liquid rubber in spray form and liquid form. Its uses are many, such as sealing, insulating, and protecting cars and motorcycles. It is non-slip and surface-enhancing, while providing dielectric coating and corrosion protection.
For application, when the temperature is low, it is recommended to place the spray in warm water for 5-10 minutes or to warm it up. Application is prohibited on cars that have previously been painted with factory paint; at least one year must have passed.
For best results, you should spray in a vertical position from a distance of 10-15 cm from the surface. It is important to ensure that the surface is clean and moisture-free before painting. Plasti dip develops its best properties after a few days, so caution is recommended in the first days after application.
- The ratio of thick Plasti dip to thinner is 1:1 for use with a spray gun.
- At least 6 "coats" are required for large surfaces.
- Prefer a simple soapy solution for cleaning and avoid active foam.
High Gloss Top Coat: Apply 3 good "coats" for the ideal result.
