Plasti dip is a liquid rubber available in both spray and liquid form. Its uses are many: it seals, insulates, colors, and protects cars and motorcycles. It is non-slip and enhances surfaces, providing insulation for wires and pipes. It protects against corrosion, offers dielectric coating, and has many other applications.
When the temperature is low, there is a possibility that Plasti dip may not spray evenly. It is recommended to place the spray in warm water for 5-10 minutes or to warm it near a heater. Before painting, it is advisable not to apply any wax or grease beforehand, as it may affect application.
Application instructions:
- Hold the spray or gun vertically, 10-15 cm away from the surface.
- Spray in an area with no airflow to avoid altering the material.
- Clean the surface thoroughly and ensure there is no moisture.
- Allow more drying time in low temperatures.
- The ratio of thick Plasti dip to thinner for spraying is 1:1.
- Applying Dip Protect is recommended every six weeks.
- Contact with gasoline may cause fading.
For the High Gloss Top Coat, apply 3 good "coats" for the ideal result with 30 minutes between each application.
