Plasti dip is a liquid rubber in spray and liquid form with many uses. It seals, insulates, adds color, and protects cars and motorcycles. It is non-slip and enhances surfaces, insulating wires and pipes. It protects against corrosion and offers dielectric coating.
To paint a car or motorcycle with Plasti dip, it is important that there has been no prior painting with factory paint and at least one year has passed. Keep the spray nozzle in a vertical position and at a distance of 10-15 cm from the surface.
It is recommended to pay attention to the application process and to clean the surface thoroughly before painting. In low temperatures, each "coat" takes longer to dry. It is advisable to apply the special wax Dip Protect approximately every one and a half months. The ratio of thick Plasti dip to thinner for spray gun application is 1:1.
- At least 6 "coats" are needed for large surfaces.
- Never wash with active foam, only with plain soapy water.
- Contact with gasoline may fade the Plasti dip.
- Apply 3 good "coats" for the High Gloss Top Coat.
