Plasti dip is a liquid rubber in spray and liquid form, ideal for many applications. It seals, insulates, provides color, and protects cars and motorcycles. It is slip-resistant and enhances surfaces, insulating wires and pipes. It protects against corrosion and offers a dielectric coating.
Before painting, it is advisable that no wax or polish has been applied previously, and at least one year should have passed since the last factory paint application. To create straight lines during application, remove the tape at the sixth "coat" while the plasti dip® is still wet.
- Spray while holding the spray can or gun in a vertical position at a distance of 10-15 cm.
- Spray in an area without drafts for a uniform result.
- Thoroughly clean the surface before painting and ensure there is no moisture.
- During application, at least 6 "coats" are required for coverage of large areas.
- Avoid using active foam during washing.
The ratio for spraying with a gun is 1:1 with solvent. Use a 1.5-2mm nozzle and set the pressure to 1.5-2bar. For an ideal result with High Gloss Top Coat, apply 3 "coats" with a 30-minute break between each application.
