Dip the stone in water for 5 minutes and then place it on a stable base. The use of one or the other side depends on the size of the blade problem.
STEP 1
Start from the hard side, pushing the knife up and down without much pressure. During the process, the angle between the knife and the stone should be between 8? and 20?.
With proper use, you will repeat the above process in about 2 to 3 months.
STEP 2
Repeat the same process with the fine side of the stone, applying less pressure this time.
The fine side helps to remove burrs and ensures a smooth and shiny blade.
Under normal conditions, the use of the fine side is once a month, or even sooner, depending on usage.
STEP 3
Clean the knife with a cloth and the stone with a brush to remove any residue. Leave it in an outdoor area until it dries completely.
