Characteristics

  • Pool Paint is a 2-component epoxy paint, specially designed for maximum durability underwater
  • Suitable for concrete pools as well as metal surfaces
  • Provides a glossy and elastic surface that is particularly resistant to cleaning systems and pool chemicals.
  • It has excellent adhesion and high resistance to abrasion, acids, alkalis, and water, offering long-term protection
  • 2-component epoxy paint
  • Perfect adhesion
  • Top resistance to chlorine and pool chemicals

Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dust, oils, loose materials, or old single-component paints, and sanded with appropriate sandpaper
  • On cement surfaces, the same paint diluted 10-15% with Pool Paint Thinner is used as a primer
  • On a new pool, it is applied at least 28 days after its construction

Application

  • Mix component A and gradually add Pool Paint Thinner
  • Then add the entire amount of component B and stir very well for 3 minutes
  • The mixture should be used 5-10 minutes after mixing the two components and within 4-6 hours for ambient temperatures of 30°C and 20°C respectively
  • Apply in two to three coats with a roller, brush, or airless spray gun with a 5% dilution. It should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C, above 35°C, and/or relative humidity over 80%
  • The product is dry to the touch in 1-2 hours and can be recoated after 12 hours
  • The recoating time should not exceed 2 days
  • The pool can be filled with water 7 days after painting, when the paint acquires its final properties
  • These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature).
  • Tools should be cleaned immediately after use with Pool Paint Thinner.
